lol what a joke. It's the third time you close your p2pool a few hours after I joined. Why not just connect them?

There isn't enough demand on the EU server, likewise with the USA server. However, the USA server has more demand. The pool is not down, simply switch to the USA server.  USA server has more hashpower so you will get blocks at a quicker rate, and hence get paid quicker.

Thanks

Have found this pool to be very reliable since I started mining on it a few days ago..have a bump  Wink

Thank you, its steadily growing Smiley

Anyone not sure what pool to choose, give this a try - running near 100% efficiency. Note: Stay connected for at least one hour before you make your judgement  Wink

Happy mining people!  As always, any issues, please post here.

gpudude, I still love your pools, but we gotta figure out this payout issue. There are still blocks that are not getting paid out for me. It seems entirely random, but I grabbed a screenshot this time so you can look into it a little better. Specifically, you can see I did not receive a payout on blocks 74454 (14:41:51), 74563 (15:12:09) and 74657 (15:43:04). My address (WinBGHPuPstx7L36CEXrrrjrVoso5SA3Ng) has been in the payout list the whole time.

I too, as a miner of the pool have the exact same payout times as you do and not to each corresponding block. I'll look into it, I think I know what might be causing this.

I'll keep you updated.

not Orphan block?
I think it can be

I think RobRoy is correct, looking at block explorers the block exists however, basically.. someone beat us to it and hence the block becomes to our pool "dead/orphan".  That is my belief? If anyone care to correct me if I am wrong.

I will still investigate this, however.

That was my guess, but I noticed most other pools have some way of indicating it (push pools label as orphans, and p2pools don't assign it a block number, as far as I've seen).

It's totally understandable, as it wouldn't make sense for the pool to have 0 orphans. However, maybe implementing a way of showing that it's an orphan could be useful.

Hmm. That payouts were quite regular until about two hours ago and then they just stopped. The stats show that the last block was at 13:24 EST. Someone nudge the server... I think it's fallen asleep. Cheesy

I think its the drop in hash rate, payouts will become less frequent.

WDC price is doing well, not sure why miners are pointing their rigs elsehwere!

Get your miners pointed here people!   Cool

Yea, that has to be it. It looks like there are only a few of us still active at the moment and I know at least one of the others. Sad

C'mon people! When this pool is crunching away at 10+ MH/s, the coins just FLY in! I've been in/on every other WDC pool and this one has given me more coins/hr than any of the others.

Just keep in mind that it takes a minimum of a few hours of hashing before you'll reach your max potential on a P2Pool server. You can find your address on the daily graphs (http://198.23.244.216:8336/static/graphs.html?Day) to see your effective hashrate and your current payout per block.

Looks like the Pool's hashrate is picking back up and we haven't even had the retarget yet!

I just looked at the graphs and noticed that one of my buddies is spitting out 100% DOA shares and he's about 20 miles away from a reboot.  Cry
