I agree with most of the points mentioned but still I think it is definitely possible to name some great upcoming Ico´s:

a.) Polkadot (tradable in 2019)
b.) Cindicator
c.) Truebit
d.) EOS
e.) Kyber Network

Furthermore I would like to share some part of my list of "interesting persons":

a.) Joseph Poon
b.) Linda Xie
c.) Vitalik Buterin
d.) Gav Would
e.) Naval Ravikant
f.) Fred Ehrsam
g.) Brian Armstrong

Follow these persons, read articles, listen to podcasts... and maybe you find a great project. Smiley

All the best

B.D.

thanks for your help. i will take a look at them

hello together,

i am very new into trading, and I made a few big mistakes and lost mostly everything  Sad

So now I decided the to spend the last $500 dollars that I have in an innovative ICO, in the hope that I get at least a part of my losses back.

My question is, is there any experienced trader that can recommend me a good ICO?

Right now I look at:

- presearch
- monetha
- substratum

What do you think? I would be very thankful for some help!

Hi Bro ,sorry to hear about your losses. If you can wait till October than I think best upcoming ICO is COMSA.
From Japan Tech Buro, developers of NEM/XEM COMSA will bring smartcontracts and new ICOs to Japan

Its like Ethereum of Japan.

Please visit referal link in  if you heard about COMSA from me first time, so I can get referal bonuses and buy some sweets  Tongue

https://tokensale.comsa.io/?ref_id=4dc1439c08b1b114e64faec47ea0aecf

Also I recommend to you to buy some more NEM/XEM because as I understand upcoming ICO COMSA will come aproximately together with NEM/XEM major update called Catapult. Catapult will pump the price of NEM very high. I think it will surpas Litecoin in marketcap and will be near Ripple.

TRADE SAVE and Good luck.

Damn bruh!!? Do not forget what the people here always say!which is Only invest money that you can afford to lose!
That is basic knowledge man! While i agree that those coins you mentioned have some potential, but it doesn't outweigh the risks. Because that is what's left of you better use it for your needs and invest when you get the an extra budget. Dont be stupid. Go back to reality.

I suggest you just keep your money inside your pocket for now. The risk is not worth it. Even when you say that the coin has potential, still, nothing is sure in the world of crypto. And as what you have said, it is all that you have left. Now, if you happen to lose that money, do you still have any source of income? Are you already well experienced to be sure you won't lose money? I know we all have to jump so we can fly. But when faced with this reality, we have to think twice as hard.

To find the best ICO, the way is to do your own independent study. Study the whitepaper, the background of the team to see if they are capable to fulfill their goals, their token purchase agreement and then decide if to invest.

We can never know the best guys. As you said, we have to make our own research and understand the best ones, at least the ones that provides a real product for real life usage.

I found some, peerguess and taas. Peerguess will probably be the dominating ticker application of cryptocurrency world in the futre.

Taas will be also the leader of crypto investments. Finding the real ones is hard though.

I know ICO's is good and sometimes you get 400% revenues when you invest into one but the problem is that is mostly garbage and will just turn out to be a pump in dump. If im going to recommend you something that would ne sebeum it is an innovative and decentralized coin that has physical projects in argetina the founder of it is a company that owns a banks and lots of projects in many different countries.

I am not good on recommending ICO's but i can give you advices. First, do your own research about the ICO. Read some articles and blogs about them. You can also see some post here pertaining a specific ICO. I tried CENTRA and KICKICO and i can say they are very good.

Best ICO is the ICO that has clear cut mission in a particular niche of an industry or other sector of the Economy. Most time they already have a working system or software, they are only looking for fund to carry out specific project All of the aforementioned point of mine is found in Spectre ICO. They already have a working model. They have one singlular mission which is brokerlessFinancial and derivatives trading platform. They are making broker less platform for trading. It is certainly a disruption idea in that space but it will benefit all the stake holders immensely . spectre is worth looking into.

I would focus on doing your own research. Like any investment, knowing what you are investing into rather than just going on the hype of the market will always steer you in the right direction.

Personally I look for:-

- Good solid team - Great developers, but also a strong big team and experienced ICO's. Does not matter how good the concept is, if the team isn't great the project will fail.

- Whitepaper - Read over the whitepaper, this paper shows the process, how the coin will work and what they are aiming to do. If this is poor, it is a bad decision to invest in them.

- Strong social media channels - This is how they communicate with potential investors, if this is poor, or lacks communication this is turn off for me.

- Does it make sense? - This is one that a lot of people look over, do they need an altcoin? or are they just doing this to be able to create an ICO? Ask questions and challenge them.

Once these are in place, i would get involved with a bounty campaign. This way you can learn more and spread the idea of the altcoin.

One that i am going to invest in is Crowdholding. Their ICO starts on the 1st of November and they meet all my criteria.

I don't think you will get an honest straight answer to this kind of question. You have to do your research very thoroughly and folllow the actuality of the project(s) that you find interest in.
Here are some criterias for a good ICO that i saw in an other similar thread :
1. A clearly defined team which is backed by known advisors and people associated with crypto and related things.
2. A goal which is practical and not too exaggerated and has potential source of economic growth in future as well. The idea shaping it must be new and out of the box though in most cases this is may not happen. Transparency between the project development and the investors is something that is lacking in ICOs these days.
3. Working on a field where other projects could not develop or make a mark on and has potential ability to develop it further.
4. A token that can meet these demands and would be profitable to the investors when traded on exchanges.
5. A responsive support team.
