Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Inno has been around for a long time and are makers of many custom IC's and SOC's. Their 1st foray into crypto coins was with the A1 back in late 2013 - early 2014.

Just be sure that you communicate with the real Innosilicon and you are fine.

Only use this web page http://www.innosilicon.com/

See their Twitter page for fraud alerts

So this means that I can trust them with closed eyes.
But what worries me is that the only means of payment has been Bank transfer..

But what worries me is that the only means of payment has been Bank transfer..
They only use Wire because they mainly are NOT makers of mining hardware. They are a custom IC/SOC solutions chip design house for a plethora of markets and the major players there do not pay their vendors in BTC. Like any very large business it is strictly bank-to-bank by Wire. Look at their website Hagssfin gave.

While it looks that for now Inno has jumped onto the crypto bandwagon whole-hog given that their Home page splash is all about their miners, here is a wayback of their Home from 2014 before they caught the crypto bug INNOSILICON Home page May 2014 Now, links to their original company services are at the top.

WTF with Silicons? Huh Angry

I preordered the A4 in July, for August-September delivery, now I am offered to pay extra and wait for December. its SCAM? How can this be? they risk the honest name of Charlie Lee, who praised them on his Twitter account.

I paid the money and waited two months to hear it?

Sounds like they are offering you a possibility to upgrade to the A4+ model?

And didn't they offer you to pay extra for upgrade to A5? (I've heard there will be such option, not sure tho).
On the other hand, they are well known for postponing pre-order deliveries (delivering later then originally promissed).

EDIT: Sorry my fault, I meant A4+  (thanks HagssFIN Wink  )

No it does not make sense because the A5 DashMaster is a X11 algo miner, totally different product series.

Innosilicon offers people that have preordered A4 miner the possibility to pay extra and upgrade the order for the A4+ miner.

now I need either my money back or A4 as promised and for what I paid. who will guarantee that they do not announce the A++ in December and will be asked to pay extra for it?

they do not offer, but put before the fact. A4 already finished and A4+ have not started yet.

they say that they no longer produce A4 !!!!! but how not to release if I have a pre-order for it ?? and not only for me but for a large number of people

Same thing they said to me, only A4+ available..no more A4, if this was a fact, why did they accept pre-orders? I made payment in June 30th, only to know this after 2 months..

For preordering with bank wire transfer.. I have question:

1. it says it must be a NET transfer.. what is this? is this a regular usd wire transfer?

2. It says the transfer must be completed in 24hours.. Wire transfers usually take like at least 4 days for me or so.. how can they ask for within 24 hours?

Thanks

I ordered and made the transfer the same day, I made the transfer through SWIFT.. I am not sure what is NET. You may want to call them up or ask your bank about it.
Make sure you send them the SWIFT Copy (if paying through SWIFT) to their email and they will respond and will confirm the payment within 3-4 days. This was how my order was placed.

My order was confirmed within 3 days, I don't know why it took 9+ days and no confirmation in your case. You can call on this number and ask,  I think it is due to this whole A4/A4+ thing going on now, people are confused and they may be busy with inquiries from preorder customers (like me  Grin).

Don't worry my friend, if you paid...you ll get it!!
