Hi,

the crazy world of crypto would bring you immedeatly to bitcoin.org, to understand the eco system. There is a developer section: https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-documentation
Then you could read probably the online book (or buy it) from Andreas: "Mastering Bitcoin", here: http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1234000001802/ It is available in many languages.
Also there is the very good post from Ken: http://www.righto.com/2014/02/bitcoins-hard-way-using-raw-bitcoin.html
On youtube you find Bitcoin 101, which explains alot.
And of course this forum has many links/references, similiar here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2131710

Nice. I always wanted to know the detail system of cryptocurrencies and now I know where to begin with. I want to know how the Bitcoin works and how it can be mined by people. What is block and why the rate of Bitcoin keep changing all the time. Why it is untraceable and secure the privacy. Many thanks sir.

Bitcoin is not untraceable. The opposite is true. It is highly traceable. But you will find out by yourself when studying Bitcoin.
If you want more details regarding this, you could start searching for "Bitcoin Pseudonymous".
There are ways to secure your privacy but you have to take care about it by yourself. You don't have it out of the box.

When I decided to learn more about the cryptocurrency I began reading all the sources in the Internet. It was YouTube, different websites in different languages. I found this Forum to chat with people. I think it's better to divide the things you're interested in and read the information step by step. It's a great apportunity to communicate here. All your questions can be easily answered by professionals. Moreover, there are a lot of newbies who want to know the same things like you. Just search them!

You need to read alot of books as a start, and if you have some programming knowledge (c/c++ especially), you can download the bitcoin source code and try to analyse and understand it, many programmers say that it's not that hard to understand.
here are some articles you can start with:
https://interestingengineering.com/understanding-cryptocurrency-how-it-works-what-drives-it-should-you-buy-it
http://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/how-does-cryptocurrency-work-2/
https://www.quora.com/How-do-cryptocurrencies-work
There are many ebooks and online videos that i do not remember their names now but i will post them here as soon as i remember.

Depends on what your interest is, whether you're interested in the trading side or technical side or general economics.
I'd suggest picking up a good book and reading it. I really enjoyed "Mastering Bitcoin" although its more of a technical book than a trading or economics book. It's still worth reading if you're reasonably technical so you develop a good grounding in what Bitcoin actually is in terms of technology.

Beyond that there are some good Podcasts and website that cover the trading side.

The best way for me to learn something is always making small project at first.
So if you want to develop some smart contracts - try to build some kind of a crypto chat, where there will be no DB, but that chat will be all stored on all user sides.
it will be a good challenge for you)

Nice thread, just back-reading gives me a whole lot of ideas where to start.  Mastering Bitcoins i guess is a nice start to read while Bitcoins is at the helm of cryptocurrency hierarchy.  Like me, I also wanted to engage in development.  As of now I am trying to understand its component.  I am also trying to build myself a miner if it permits.  As of now, I just wanted to have more information as to what aspect I needed to splash my knowledge and assets..

If you're interested in expanding your knowledge on the fundamental principles behind cryptocurrencies, this article gives a great introduction to the theoretical and historical background of Bitcoin, including references for further reading. It also briefly touches on the subject of smart contracts, Ethereum and private blockchains.

http://queue.acm.org/detail.cfm?id=3136559

what do you mean? Where to get the most value by entering into the domain?
Crypto currencies all have different flavours, from blockchain timing, over blockchain design up to smart contracts.
I'd recommend starting with Bitcoin. Thats like a foundation to the many crypto currencies, and go step by step. Once you grasped it, and can't get enough Cheesy, continue with "smart contracts" (yes, Ether is a possibility, also AEON, written in ERLANG), and then maybe have a look at DAGs.
There is plenty of room in this space  Grin

Got any recommendations on reading up on DAGs in the context of cryptocurrencies? I've been reading the Byteball whitepaper lately and I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

Have you read The Tangle white paper yet?

i think as long as you can follow the news and learning from many source so you can mastered crypto world and especially understand about bitcoin. I admitted that its not a short time but it needs to learn for a long time and there is no stopping for learning our main work. I think if we are learning from time to time, I am sure that we can finally understand about bitcoin and we can doing many things from bitcoin.

Limited emission guarantees the growth of bitcoin cost with increasing demand. Many have dubbed bitcoin digital gold, because like gold, it is a limited resource. Although at present the volume of annual global gold mining is approximately the same as bitcoin, which appears in a smaller quantity, strictly according to the laid-down algorithm. If you look at the impressive growth rate of bitcoin for the whole time, you can notice a tremendous increase in demand, especially in the last year.

It 's not simple. Each cryptocurrency token embodies a tradable good. This can be for example coins, points, certificates, in-game items etc. This means that crypto tokens can be used to represent a share in a company or can be used as central committee voting rights.
They are often used to raise funds in a crowdsale. That is why many people refer to them as cryptocurrency assets or crypto assets and crypto equity.

By participating you here bitcointalk.org. You are already involved in understanding the crypto world.
But here it doesn`t mean we just watch or read post. the most important thing here is to do it, you can start from the simple that is by investing and analyzing the market against the fluctuations that often occur.

It is very easy to get involved in something in this age of internet. You can observe, watch and listen to crypto news and updates. You just get the feel of it. Then when you feel confident and familiar with it then start investing the amount of money that you are  comfortable with. There are pretty nice place where you can get valuable info like this forum itself.
