Well done, Erik. More people need to understand these fundamental principles. Education will always be our greatest tool for enriching this new economy.

Thanks for the words.

Great talk!

I want to share some other findings I get about money:

1. You never pay tax when you create money

2. Money's value is mostly decided by a consensus, not directly related to supply/demand. That's the reason central banks have printed so much fiat money since financial crisis and there was barely some inflation. This also means, bitcoin's value will also be decided by a consensus, once that consensus established, its value will develop based on that consensus, and the market is discovering that consensus now

Beautiful piece of work - a pleasure to read.

Suggestions:

"So who’s whose bright idea was it to choose gold?"

"It is fungible and uniform" -> "it is fungible (one piece is equivalent to any other of the same size) and uniform"    (The suggestion being to insert some quick definition of the unfamiliar word for a general audience).

"and thus looses loses purchasing power every day"

On a slightly sour note, I have trouble reconciling your point  "Bitcoin’s attributes ... Inevitably, this means it will start displacing monies with inferior attributes" (which I very much would like to believe) with the opposite aphorism "bad money drives out good", the latter seemingly true in practice where, for example, silver-content coins disappeared from circulation once junk-metal coins were offered.

Anyway, I've posted the link to anyone in my (tiny) sphere of influence. Thank you so much for that.
