As I always say, singular blockchain idea's like Civic are worthless. Platforms like stratis that add these functionalities as a tool in a larger picture, makes sense!

I don't see why it's always either or with things like this. There is a big enough market they could both serve. It really comes down to marketing and adoption. Say stratisidentity is picked up by some apple product. Then civic is adopted in China. There will probably be more blockchain identity projects starting up, running ICOs and trying to get into the market as well. It's not like stratisidentity will win and everyone working at civic will just quit.

Swapped my CVC for STRAT now... 

Wanted to buy it for some time now and this looks like a good time to do it. If BTC was not increasing so much I would use that instead of CVC stock

Civic has a better product, team, and partners. They built their platform from the ground up with the sole purpose of identity verification. Civic has Stratis both on a first mover advantage and a better product.

Stratis has a lot of potential, however I think the price will dip again to sub 6 level before climbing higher

Why would anyone go through all of the trouble to integrate an entire blockchain protocol just for one area of their business, when they could implement a blockchain like Stratis which was developed specifically for businesses and includes identity verification plus a wide array of additional tools and functionalities.

Stratis = Built for businesses, Civic = An obvious idea for blockchain technology

Well i believe in CIVIC and i learned the hard way that FUD is not a good way to invest. CIVIC team is there to stay, don't worry!
