When I tried with lesser gas than required amount, my ETH balance got deducted but my tokens were unmoved. That was with myether wallet. I guess you tied to transact ETH, anyway some eth miner may help you. Better try to put the price for the service so that it can attract more people to come forward.

I think if there is a mistake when sending like not enough gwei or gas, balance will remain in your wallet. It depends on the amount of ethereum send. The higher the gas used the higher the transaction will be confirmed.
