For me I think the best investment I made is the education. Yes it is costly before I graduated, there is a lot of school fees, tuition, projects and other extra curricular fees. But later on you will know what is the result of your investment. Your education is priceless, you can carry it everywhere you will go.

Two years ago I started Perk mining with cheap smartphones. Spent about $40 in smartphones (broke even in a week) and got nearly $1000 out of it before the coin crashed. Switched the one phone that still worked to another altcoin and added $60 in Moto Es, managed to make another $1100 so far although the difficulty has increased to the point where the cluster is only making $20-25/month now.

HODLing coins is the best way to make money IMO. I could have made so much if I had kept my Darkcoin (Dash). Bought 10k of them a couple of years ago, then day traded and sold it.
My advice: research coins, and find something that you believe in. Then HODL for a few years at least.
