There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hey Dylan, what will happen to the tokens that will remain unsold during each phase of the ICO? Will they carry towards next phase or will be burned?

Hi Sy, unsold tokens from the early token sale will indeed be carried forward to the main token sale.

Bringing together the owner of the sensors, data processors, and network owners, this will not be easy, but with such a concept, I hope this project can really go well, I see your team is reliable, good luck

Thank you sincerely for the encouragement. While we agree it's not easy, it's also not impossible.
The team behind Databroker has experience with blockchain projects at a high level through work at Settlemint and getting key partners onboard such as governments & (inter)national corporations is something we've become acquainted with.

Hi everyone, I lost my account to the forum so I got a brand new one. I'm Roderik, one of the founders and CTO of DataBroker DAO. If there are any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them!

Interesting project, will definitely be following. One question though: Would you mind sharing with me how DataBroker & IOTA compete (and what the differences are) or are they complimentary?

Hi Darklow, great question!

IOTA & DataBroker DAO are complementary projects.

IOTA’s tangles are an awesome concept. But they do not support smart contracts (yet) and they appear to be too simple to build a marketplace. https://www.reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/6fdtq4/can_iota_do_decentralised_smartcontracts/
We are planning to integrate with IOTA as a transport layer, both in and out.

Have you wondered why a marketplace for IoT sensor data is needed and how it adds value to the IoT industry? We wrote an article which goes into these topics.

Early token sales allow 9372 ETH, but only 9250 ETH goal, if the goal has been achieved, will the initial token sale will be stopped? Or continue to 11,250,000 DATA?

Hi Kickcity, sorry that must be a disrepancy in our information, will fix that.

The rate is: 1 ETH = 1200 DATA
11.250.000 / 1200 = 9375 ETH

This is our funding goal.
