SportsPodium to disrupt sporting industry by doing Token Sale

Sports is a massive industry, but one that is very centrally control with very few sharing in the wealth. Sportspodium (www.sportspodium.net) is launching an Token Offering of our currency called PODS on 14 September. The funds raised will be used to build a crypto economy centred on sport. Using top sporting names as Ambassadors for each sporting code, we will focus on future talent by bringing them into the SportsPodium ecosystem. What is Sportspodium?

The short answer: It is a blockchain enabled web platform where you can share your sports information and get rewarded with crypto tokens. It is a showcase for sporting accomplishment and talent at all levels of society. It is a sports library we are building, and the more information gets fed into it, the more verifiable and useful it becomes. Using social media type interface, users will input various types of information, from scores and results to training and diet. By using big data with our algorithms, we will apply machine learning and AI to contextualise and verify data.

Not only will the community share in the daily PODS creation pool based on their diligent and accurate entry of information, but they will also share in the revenue inflows into the ecosystem. With building a community of millions of sports people, companies providing goods and services will promote and sell their merchandise to the people in the community. Any sponsorship or advertising will require the sponsor or advertiser to acquire PODS to be able to pay for this on the platform, and through our online mall, our community will be able to use their PODS to buy equipment. The more your effort and diligence the more PODS you will earn.

We are launching a public USD-capped token sale to raise funds for the SportsPodium project. SportsPodium tokens will be called PODs and will be ERC20 compliant on the main Ethereum network. The token offering will stop when the tokens received measure up to the equivalent of $15m USD.

Yes, I am aware of another ICO that does what you say. However what they are doing is a very small part of what we do, and we believe that it is to focused on scouting. Scouting needs broad data to be universally accepted and they will collect very limited data. Talent identification and recruitment are two very specific parts of the value chain. Our project could actually feed into theirs nicely and we could potentially coexists very nicely.

I always like and wanted to be part of this type of projects where it helps the talented persons to get fully trained and achieve the goal in life as they are facing the financial and no proper channel to support them. So this type of projects will guide them and help them in achieving their goal.

I agree with you. It is nice to be part of a feel good project. One needs to make a living and if people help in that path they should be rewarded. So if you can apply resources, skills and knowledge to help improve people's situation, which we are doing with this project, and we can reward people for that effort and contribution, I believe it is the perfect business.
