There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I don't think you will get that much for it at todays BTC value.  You should prove you own that coin by signing and dating a message and taking a picture of it with the coin.

Are the spots i can see at the top of the BTC on the coin or case, one of them looks a little purple in color and the other seems like a faded mark.

Omg.. I didn't even pay attention to that.
I am going to remove coin from the box and take pics with name and post back again.

My offer is firm 2.7BTC

I hope the offer is not firm if those marks are on the coin, might be a good idea to post another pic out of the case.

I did read in another thread here that some Cas coins tarnish in the original coin holder they were provided in but not sure if that was for all Cas coins or just the Superbowl ones.

Coin looks nice

1Ag6 -- could be better, IIRC gilt started at 1Ag4?

Shitty lasering on the holo

Will be surprised if you get 2.9 but good luck!

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

Yes it is and that is why I am hodling this coin for eternity  Cheesy

Also good to know the case is not tarnishing the coin. I almost had a heart attack when I read a previous post, did not feel like digging my coins out of the ground!

1Ag6 is the last batch of loaded coins made AFAIK (at least for silver 1BTCs?) - and many of them have a slightly offset hologram laser (id say 50% of them are about as offset as OP's).

even with the value of BCH, hard to see this fetching >2.4BTC,  and if it does i might have to sell another one of mine

I am offering the coin for 2.7BTC

If no one buys, I will be happy enough to keep it. It is a beauty.

Hmm, weren't there a bunch of 1Ag* 1BTC silvers that didn't follow the usual scheme? Like 1AgN, etc? So much of this is lost to memory..

Every goldie I've seen starts with 1Ag4, 1Ag5, or 1Ag6.

There are lots of all-silver singles with 1Ag(letter) addresses like the 0.1s and 0.5s
