More movement in BTC's price is sure expected in the coming months. Even though we already hit $4800, I must say that people are just starting to be aware that BTC exists. We are expecting to hit $5k soon as other people, companies and banks   enter the cryptomarket to get a piece of the pie (BTC of course) for huge profit. Some amount of dip in price is expected but it it is needed for the price to go higher. Enjoy the ride fellas.

Bitcoin will rise anytime it may go down sometimes because of the fluctuation, but it will keep on rising because there's some reason why the price is keep on rising. How would you react if the price is $5000? Keep your pace still it's not the end it's just the beginning of everything. Bitcoin reached its ATH as expected this August. This is not a surprise, but we need to follor the reaction of the Assia market. They will be determining if this pump wave is permanent. If they don't start hard selling, we can maintain this until $5,500 easily.

Who set $5000 is as a peak ? I agree that we may see some correction in coming days as many traders must have set their targets around $5000 but hopefully market will bounce back toward the year end target of $10k.

I expected market to hit $5000 levels by 31st of August but it is doing that today only. Always +/-5% differences are acceptable with any predictions, this way I am too so glad for reaching he August's milestone and this will be the triggering indication for $10k by this year end.

Yes, this is great to see Bitcoin reach the first time $4800. Bitcoin will reach $5000 in this month. And It will increase day by day. Because Bitcoin is getting popularity all over the world. Nowadays people all over the world are curious about Bitcoin.

Those people who haven't experience bitcoin yet really will be curious about it and they will wonder how to invest. Their interest is getting higher and that expectation to reach at $5000 is nearly coming, and about the price increase in the future will go further progressive. One of my friend said we might be reaching until 20,000 usd per bitcoin in the future since the price of last year was just at 900usd, so the 80% probability is always there.

Nothing really interesting here. The higher the price is going up, the more impressive the increase looks, but if you calculate everything in percentages, then a $500 increase is just a 10% movement.

That goes up for corrections as well. If the price happens to go down with $500 from current levels, people will directly act like we are going through a massive crash, while again, it's just a 10% movement.

In other words, we have to start aiming at wider movements. As Eric Cartman stated in post #15, $1000 jumps are what people should look at ~ everything below that is just not worth getting excited about.

It went a new all time high $4935. Eventhough i'm expecting it to go up, i'm still amazed on the movement. Increases big and fast, decreases a bit and recovering fast, that's the recent movement we love to happen. We are just $65 away in reaching $5000 and it's still september 1. It keeps increasing every month and seems unstoppable. So imagine what would be the price next year, my goodness.

It is newest peak value from seeing all the time in bitcoin price chart. We could expect the more value in upcoming months and I believe block size increase more in numbers as updation on segwit activated wallets.
If there is more adoption and business starts relaying on bitcoin based you can expect next 1000$ more in few months.
