I tried Electrum because people said it's safer, but I was testing a transfer to another address of mine and I'm surprese of how expensive it is.

As the picture shows:

With just one input, Electrum is charging me $7.00 to send $9,75. Is this normal? Any alternative?

Electrum is one of the few wallets that let you customize your fees. You are not required to pay that much in fees.

To enable custom fees, do the following: Tools -> Preferences -> Check "Edit fees manually";

Thank you. But if the fee is like 50 cents, will my transfer be broadcasted to the network in the same day? I'm afraid it will take like a week. Is this price the avarage in the Bitcoin market?

Your transaction will be broadcasted. But it may take some time to get confirmed depending on the fee paid and how full is the mempool at the moment of the transaction.

Here are some tips:

a. ConfirmTX.com is a transaction accelerator that charges a fixed amount of $4 for each transaction confirmation. But they are accelerating transactions up to 500 bytes for free. You should try it and see if you can get your transaction through in ~8 hours or less.

b. ViaBTC accelerator[1] is free but seems to be very slow at the moment. Also, they only accepts a limited amount of transactions per hour.

Very useful. I just tested with a low fee in Electrum and confirmtx and I already got 2 confirmations in less than a minute. Thanks again.
