I'm Currently staking 2 coins and very shortly will star staking a 3rd.
1. Bitbean.. getting a nice wee small return every day. wallet is stable and stakes are regular.
2. Embercoin. Paying a massive 19.7% per day at the minute. I know this can't last, but New developers have started a process to keep things in check.
Will very shortly start staking DeepOnion. I really like what these developers are doing. they are also in the middle of a very generous air-drop.
I'd be interested in what everyone else is staking and why ?

What does staking mean? Passive generation of coins? If so I know ARK has that under its delegate system. If not please ignore me. Im new to crypto.

Insanecoin with new ticker INSN is a good coin to stake right now. It's fairly cheap at the moment so pick up as many as you can because the price is due to rise. Staking is about 6% to 8% annually. Higher than a lot of other POS coins. INSN is a good choice for those that don't have a lot of funds to invest with.

Pink coin just had an update to the wallet. Their staking system is really unique. You have the option of donating part of your stake rewards to charity. And the staking system seems fair. If you keep your wallet open 24hr you are guaranteed rewards. 100 pink coins per block is not too bad EMB just got shilled a bit. They are changing their staking rewards to lower percentage on Sept 15, and adding masternodes later. This could make the price go up. Good to get in now at a few sats. B3coin is at the block past 55000 where it now rewards 1000%, soon it will go to 10,000%, but after it reaches new blocks it will go back down to 5% Rain. Seems to be a favorite. Is not such a bad price to get in now at around 1200 sats. The dev is active and I could see the price going up in the future. You need at least 10 000 coins to get any good rewards. The more the better RISE and ark both have delegate proof of stake systems. Use 1 coin to vote for a delegate and you get a reward usually everyday. It's kind of expensive to get into ark now, but will probably be worth it in the future. RISE is still cheap and a good time to get in and stake. ZENcash masternodes. Each masternode only needs 42 coins, which is way cheaper than a dash masternode. Get in now while it's still cheap. Host it on a vps and get rewards without your computer on 24/7. You will never know you will know know the calculation after the campaignor in the end of the camapign the stakes are some kind of your share in the campaign i guess you will never guess what coin will be the best be ause it is only depend on the ico fund how much you will get a payout it is just a matter of time. |

I am currently staking Bitconnectcoin and it is giving us 8% a month...not much but since the value of the coin is going up everyday I find it really good. Bitconnectcoin (BCC) started humbly but with its very limited supply of coins it rise up astronomically months after its introduction and is now part of the top 20. |

There is nothing has been told about Equitrader. This is a small cap crypto with PoW + PoS(30% per year).
Some days ago it was bought by Aluna.Social. Maybe it's just PR, but it looks like this crypto will go to the moon in early/middle term. I suggest to study it and get in before it will skyrocket.

i haven't really been checking this but what about Ethereum?
it is not yet PoS, so i am not sure how things will be. never cared enough to research it either but with your question i am thinking about it. the purpose of them to switch to PoS is exactly to earn more money on their premined ETH because the foundation is the biggest shareholders. so i guess we can also use this chance to make more profit. although you may need to invest in a volatile market which can go down and cause a bigger loss than what you earn as "profit".
but it is good to have this option in mind for when it actually does the switch and things become clear. crunch some numbers and see if it is worth the risk.

Neblio is one of the best staking crypto I know. Their ICO is just over a couple weeks but the reward is 10 % a year. They will be on exchanges end this year or next year, watch out for it and buy it when it is still cheap. ICO price was 20 cents. Only 12 Mill coins is the total supply.

I used to stake Bitbeans like you, but my mistake was to sell them off a few months ago when I had problems syncing from the wallet. I later realised that it was a problem with all my wallets especially qt. By that time I had no more mood to buy back the beans which had already risen up in price. My mini adventure did not last long. But it was fun for a while. I also had insane coins but after the swap I lost some and gave up also.
