It is obvious that the bitcoin is very strong now. The bitcoin is now reaching $5000 in this moment. The bitcoin showing that it is the most profitable coin, the most popular coin and the most powerful coin in the cryptocurrency.

We will see some dips but this will keep going up. Some mining houses have stopped offering mining contracts. Until now they were renting mining, so spreading risk. However this move means that they expect BTC price to go much higher and they want to keep all the profit for themselves.

Take a look at the graphs, from around a month ago Bitcoin had a huge drop to 2k, which was probably due to people who were scared of segwit. Now the price is 5000 which means bitcoin more than doubled it value over one month.

A lot of this can be contributed to bitcoin cash being a huge flop, and how no one really paid attention or pumped it, except the huge pump to 700 at the start of bitcoin cash.

I don't think that Bitcoin Cash has anything to do with Bitcoin's price uptrend. There is hardly any bigger impact on Bitcoin price from any altcoin as Bitcoin has dominance in the cryptocurrency market and it somehow drives the altcoin price but opposite is not the case.

 The hike in Bitcoin's price is basically due to increase in buying activity which was on hold in July because of all that Forking event. Even the high transaction fees didn't stop price from growing. This shows there is a genuine increase in demand right now.

Already 5k? This was my year end target I believed it would touch that by the year end, and I am so very happy that it has already touched it. This shall send all the Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin gold people away for good and hopefully we see more people coming into the Bitcoin world. Any idea why it's suddenly rising, or what's the latest news on it. Bitcoin already touched the moon, wonder what's next, let the party never end.

Im sorry to say this guys, but bitcoin has not touched the $5000 barrier support yet. We are near to get there, but i think it will take some hours to achieve that.
but i have to admit that we made a very veryy huge pump yesterday, from $4700 to $4950 today, that is amazing.
I think bitcoin will continue growing in the next hours.
$5000 is a pretty number

yeah thats predicted a couple of weeks ago, its not impossible for bitcoin to reach that price, we can all see that bitcoin's price is still increasing so i think by the end of the year it can reach $6000 or more i guess.

Coinbase says it peaked at $4980 within the past hour and has since pulled back to $4872.  Blockchain.info is at $4952 and still climbing, but not yet at $5000.

This is what I'm supposed to say.We didn't still hit up $5000 price as far as I know when I do check new All time high we are still on 4900+ onwards and then suddenly roll back its price again.Seems like theres a resistance again on $5000 price which we would hardly to see for bitcoin to break that one.On latest price on preev.com we are on 4849 as of writing and it is only a few bucks to reach that amount.

I've imagined what would be the price at the end of this year when we even seen the effect of the opening of "ber months" there is a fast phased to be on 5000$. If it continues the way it is rapidly increasing it will marked at the peak point at the end of this year on 8000$ a thousand a half higher than 6500$ that I have predicted last week. This will be an exciting few months to end with. Cheers!

Yes that's the best opportunity for us to invest more and more into bitcoin. Those who have invested during the hard fork when the price was all the way down must be enjoying very much as the price incriminating has given two to three fold rise in the profits. I'm sure this is not where bitcoin will stop but it will go ahead 5000 usd and also might reach 7k by the end of September. This is still not the time we should sell our coins but hold them for more long to grab even more profits. That's the beauty of bitcoin. Just keep investing everyone. :-)

You can expect that to be occur since bitcoins has tricky movements before it will go to that price and maybe its best for us to expect that the price can reach to 5000$ on anytime soon now since as I can see the graph is bitcoin had a great time today and people should look this one as good thing to hold so that we can fully reach to 5000$ speculated price.

well, there have been many people who are paying $ 5000. a few hours ago, bitcoin prices almost reached the price, but the price went back down. it proves that bitcoin prices will probably rise to $ 5000 in the near future.
