As far as I know, there is some voice that the Chinese government will announce some critical policy to limit ICO market, and as you can see some Chines coins drop a lot, and make the market panic.

I think it's just a small pullback of Bitcoin. Last week all the alts went like crazy including Bitcoin so this may be a small correction. Usually at weekends altcoins tend to soar lightly.

Fluctuations in cryptocurrencies prices are completely normal. Nothing special is happening.

Agree with this guy.  We've all seen swings larger than this, and nothing bad happened.  Don't panic and maintain your positions.  You've got to wait out the fluctuations.

Didn't you think some similarities on it. When bitcoins dumps too hard altcoins were affected, and when bitcoins is keep on rising the price the price of altcoins are affected also. Because the main thing is people sell their bitcoins on panic for both e.g bitcoins price high they sell their altcoins in loss to sell their btc because of high price.  In dump of btc they panic to sell to not loss big amounts.

The ICO regulation is on a killing streak? Seems overpowered Cheesy
I am not panicking, yes Crypto is volatile, but when you see everything fall at the same time, there is a reason.

This has happened several times. Altcoin prices are always affected by bitcoin price. soon Bitcoin and all altcoins start to increase in price. Just wait and do not panic.

I think it's due to bitcoin hitting resistance at $5000. When it inevitably fell back, alts fell even more as they always do. Watch for btc recovering, alts will follow soon after.

Simply, bitcoin's rise. All people and investors are now getting on bitcoin not to miss its market rally. If they stay on altcois, they will simply miss the whole opportunity of bitcoin.

Whenever you see a pullback like this you have to zoom out a bit and put it in context. If a coin is down 10% today but it's up 20% for the week and 30% for the month, there's nothing alarming about that (unless you bought yesterday).

This is not a bloodbath. Sometime in the future we will definitely see a bloodbath, but this is just a minor correction. I think it will go back up again in a few hours.

I agree with you, this is just a minor correction, not a bloodbath, maybe you are a new guys to this market, it is happens several time this year. Do not worry, if you think it is promising, hold it or sell it immediately.

It's just dust settling in after a long ride. It happens all the time nothing new. Everything went up like crazy and now they are settling for their correction points.

Two things probably.

The resistance to punch the 5,000 ceiling and the new whales (stock market traders) who are not familiar with cryptocurrency swings yet.  Probably doing massive panic sell offs.

Make that 3...the Chinese regulations probably.  They have a big purchasing power due to sheer number/poluplation.

Market will rally back shortly...just hodl.

Yep you are 100 % right, just a minor correction. Prices first went down, but as you said are now going up again. Good call  Wink

That $5000 was pretty resistant, so much that it feels like it caused it to just dump $500. Actually it's probably just manipulation making it look like it would have reached $5k

I mean, I was told around here that BTC has eaten 50% drops in its lifetime. So this little pullback isn't really bothering me even though Im new around here.

I have already mentally prepared myself for some hard pullbacks considering when I look at the market for the past 6 months I just see huge ass growth everywhere. There has to be some giveback at some point. Hopefully many of the people new like me have no patience for after having been spoiled by the bull market and sell off so I can grab up a bunch of cheap priced coins of the good up and coming projects I believe in.
