Choosing a MB for 6 GPUs

Hey! I'm planning to make a 6GPU (1070s) rig and while I was reading some threads, people were complaining about the fact that some MB don't support 6GPU even if they have 6pci-e slots.
Now, since I have not bought the MB yet, I wanted to ask for an advice. Looking on the forum, I saw that the highest rated MB are:
-Biostar TB250 BTC
-Biostar TB85
-Asrock BTC PRO
My choice was an Asus rog strix z270e, so I don't know if this one could support 6GPU.
What do you suggest? This is open also to MBs not listed.
My cpu choice is a G3930, but I can still change it: is it an overkill for gpu mining? If you suggest a 1150 socket MB, what cpu do you recommend?

Buy a dedicated mining motherboard; they are far less likely to cause problems and headaches, both with initial setup and future stability. The Biostar TB85 is literally plug and play for 6 GPUs and out of the dozen or so rigs we have it's been the most stable overall... so I would pick that one as my first choice for Intel mining motherboards.

i use the gigabyte z270 gaming 3 boards, they are also plug and play, no issues at all, just plug in 6 cards, install the drivers and your good to go

I'm running MSI Z270A-A PRO boards with Celeron G3950 CPUs and V.007 risers and EVGA 1080Ti cards.  Been rock solid for me.  I like being on the latest Intel chipset / technology on my hardware for best resale value, should such a day ever come.

Price is a must for me now, since GPUs are my priority; so between all of these, the TB85 seems the best, even if the cpu socket is 1150, so I can't mount what I found to be a great one (the g3930).
What CPU do you suggest for this MB?

Using ASUS Prime Z270-a. Your model little bit more expensive. ASUS Prime Z270-a easy runs 8-GPUs on Win10 (mix of 1070, 1080, 1080Ti):
7 GPUs in PCI-e slots and 1 GPU in M.2 slot:

Btw, that MB here is 150€. Less than the z170e, but if I can find something at lower price would be awesome!

Have you tried the msi z170-a pro? its pretty cheap and can handle up to 6 gpus

you can get a cheap Gigabyte H110 or something like that.  Most will run 6 GPU's.  Maybe you have a kabylake processor, I have never tried one and always stuck to skylake but that may be the problem.

And it works well with 6xGTX1070. BIOS update is required to support more than 4 GPUs. OS is Win Server2012R2. Maybe soon will try to run 7GPUs on that MoBo using M.2 to PCIe adapter:
