Hi Everyone i hope someone can help me about that.

My problem is when i used msi afterburn software , fan speed goes %20 itself when etherium is working and for that reason card overheating and close itself. I am using original bios for it and using core clock 1100/ memory  clock 1500 oc

Any reason why fan speed goes itself?

Regards
Thanks

Sounds like you have a fixed fan speed set in Afterburner - go to Settings and set a custom fan profile, or use the fan slider on the main page and move it UP.

Hmmm. THAT is starting to sound more like the miner software is configured for a fan speed limit that's too low, or too high a temperature set point.

Claymore in particular is known to override Afterburner settings if you have the mining software set for temp control/fan control.

i am using bellow for mining only

Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8

and open msi afterburn 4.4.0 software

nothing else. So after testing with musicoin i seen problem comes only from eth software because now i close musicoin and start etc, working well without closing fan.

But other weird thing is etherium not close the fan for rx 540 cards (i got 6 of them) only closing r9 390 series (2x i got) fan control.

I know its so weird i hope someone had this problem and solve somehow and help me of course Smiley

Thanks for your time LEO
