This is a topic of fierce competition, but I think that the need to better develop cryptocurrencies requires partial supervision. The concentration of coins and loose coins simultaneously favors the early cryptocurrency market.

More and more countries are planning to regulate ICOs. China, Canada, Russia,... I think this in an development nobody can stop. Do you think it is good or bad that ICOs will be more regulated in the near future? What positive and negative influences will it probably have?

I think there will be more investors like professional managed funds or even retirement funds which will invest into ICOs. The prices for ICOs will then become even more expensive and make it more difficult to make profits for small investors.

They are the best things that we can get from the coins right now, if we can get a good amount of regulation on the coins in the market especially the coins that are just coming into the market then we can be able to combat the problem of the many scams that are now coming into the market, we can be able to stop them before they even start

With the rate at which the incidence of scam projects is on the rise, I think its better we regulate the incoming ICOs to minimize the scams and make crypto look secured and attractive to new investors.

It is bad if you are looking to scam someone or be involved in shity or some projects to make a fast buck.
but for industry in general it is something that is necessary for industry to evolve.

In my opinion. The creation of too many ICOs projects is not good. This will create chaos. As many ICOs are created, more scam projects will appear. Huh

On the one hand, the regulation would mean that crypto currencies would not be anonymous, but on the other hand some kind of a regulation will protect a lot of investors from scam projects that are overwhelming the market now.

The regulation for the ICO will be good but the regulation that will bind the investors is very bad. Still, now the ICOs are not regulated by the any Govt. or the separate body but the body of private which conducted is regulate the ICO properly and technically. If any ICO is gone flop and the soft cap is not reached then the investors money were return back.

what regulation they have made? if it burdensome an investor, team, or though ico itself, people will say that is bad. as long as they accept and can release new coin  in their country for crypto member, i think that is no problem.
regulation created to keep it up under government. but im sure if there someone or party still disagree with regulation

It is a wonderful idea to protect investors from scam ICOs. We are facing the problem of the lack of funds, because people are not sure about any ICOs. If it would be regulated we would not have such problems at all.

Hello! On the one hand, I agree with you. On the other hand, there will be less weak and fraudulent ICO. I think there will be more good than harm.

In the long run I think regulation will surely benefit all the crypto sphere and will positively influence the price. But there will be first such a stage when regulation is being implemented and in this period some price drops may occur. This is how market reacts to everything that is new and unclear. I'm waiting for the regulation impatiently because then the price for crypto will definitely become more stable!

Introducing regulation of ICOs is a welcome idea to me because this will checkmate the fraudulent ones and investors will have confidence and trust on their hard earned money in the other hand most of this ICOs will request for KYC of which most people are often trying to avoid thus always hiding their identities which invariably will reduced the numbers of investors investing in ICOs.

If we want more investors on the market regulations are needed as institutional investors will not enter a totally unregulated market.I am for smart regulation but not to over regulate ICO as it could  be non efficient .

ICO is currently only supervised to survive, and now ICO has entered a downturn, many projects are fraud, and excellent ICO has been affected and it is difficult to succeed. So I support ICO being regulated.

Positive will be the fact that there will be fewer scams on the market. The negative is that not everyone can take part in the ICO.

Given the rules in the ICO program, the ICO can carry out its mission and achieve its objectives as expected. In addition, it also suppresses the fraud rate that can be done in the ICO program. So that the ICO succeeded and produced many benefits for its participants and investors.

Its true, if ICOs regulated by government, it will reducing scam ICO. 2018 is not good year for crypto investor because beside market drop the value, many ICOs are scam. If government regulate ICOs, hopely investor more confident to investing their money in market and it will gain positive perspective for cryptocurrency

ICO regulation in certain framework will give the result. for example even verification of the developers will decrease the chance of scam.

If passed by the House, the bill will eliminate cryptocurrencies and initial coin offering (ICO) tokens from the scope of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which may revitalize the country’s ICO market.
https://www.ccn.com/us-to-provide-regulatory-clarity-on-crypto-token-recovery-in-sight/

If there is regulatory clarity regarding tokens and investor protection, ICO will have a chance.
