Some of the famous chinese ICO platform temporarily closed the Ico project due to the regulatory policies of the relevant departments。

So Ether price down quickly. what do you think about the event??
Will it last long time or re-open quickly???and what the influence to the market???

Hi, which sites are you talking about? I realized 19800 is closed for "upgrade" and luckily I withdrew my savings out a week ago.

That was just the "Warning Across the Bow" and the worst is yet to come:

Are Most Cryptocurrencies Doomed to Collapse — because they’re “ICO-issued”?

Yes, I've seen the news about icos banned as well. I guess that's the main reason why NEO is going extremely down right now. Gosh, I guess a lot of people are losing their money on it now. What do you guys think: will non-Chinese people make a sufficient amount of icos on NEO for it to keep going? Will we see NEO great again? Or is it the end and time to sell everything when the price is still $20?

Very bad news (in short term). I'm out of NEO. There is so much uncertainty. I'm sure that China government seriously intends to regulate the ICO market. And this prohibition will last more than one month. At the end ICOs should be legal and China decide to be the pioneer here. As any revolution it will be hard, but in the end we'll get valid ICOs without 90% scams as for now. After this breakout NEO should shine more than today.

ETH and NEO will still continue to conduct ICOs, they'll just exclude all countries deeming ICOs are illegal. That means, people from outside China can only participate in ICOs for now. Although we're seeing a lot of panic sellers, it's no biggie.

I think NEO still has hope in the crypto market because certainly many investors and whales will not let this market down again because if NEO continuously down NEO will definitely lose a lot of traders and this is very difficult happens at this time

When NEO continues to go down, the more it gets attractive in in my opinion. I'll definitely buy some when it goes below .004ish sats. Time to put some buy orders. Or maybe I'm already late.

the imbalanced Chinese government's attitude is imbalanced with bitcoin and other altcoin prices. I see all my portfolios are also red, but I'm sure this is only temporary. the decision taken fair because the government is afraid of its citizens to be deceived and wrongly selected ico. I think this is also the insistence of the owners and businessmen of banking in China who fear the existence of bitcoin.

I think NEO will be much lower..  Sad
It is a good project but with this no ICO dare to switch to NEO in China.

I think they switch to Qtum

No Signature right now...

In my opinion, banning it is some kind of stupid. All it does is excluding their people from experiencing it, without experiencing it how would they learn? Yes people will lose money but that's how they'll learn and be more skeptic next time. But no, they'll just ban it and call it protection.
