What is Utox ?

Utox is an escrow system that guarantees security and trust between vendors and customers

When a customer wants to purchase something from a vendor a contract is created witch allows the customer to send a payment into the network. The network verifies the payment and notifies the vendor that the product can be sent. When the vendor ships the product he or she is required to send the track&trace code with the company name into the system. The system will automatically search for the shipping information and confirm it. After it is confirmed the vendor shipped the product purchased by the costumer, the funds will be released by the network.

All the information that is sent into the network is blockchain protected.

The UTOX tokens can be used to pay for whatever is purchased if the vendor accepts the tokens.
Accepting the tokens will lead to lower fees, and (if holding enough of the tokens), dividends.

The goal is to make trading with strangers more safe and trustworthy.

But there is no way they can know what ETH address is related to what BTC incoming transaction.

Wait and see, The concept is great but it is applicable in reality or not. I think the developers should have the beta test website of the platform. Not only roadmap and whitepaper. OK I appreciate the idea but if not applicable, the project become scam. Many ICOs are not real project. The developers have good idea about the concept but in fact , the concept remains whitepaper and roadmap.

What a shame this was a scam.

UTOX looked very promising at its initial stage; was all about whether the developers would have followed this project.
A cryptocurrency escrow service to me seems like a great idea which would actually bring a solution to real world everyday issues.
Unfortunately http://utoxco.in redirects to http://utoxcoin.pagedemo.co/ and states 'The page you're looking for is no longer available.' and the whole thing is pretty much confirmed having been a scam.

Anyone knows of similar projects (escrow service through a crypto)?
