I think if there are bitcoin's enemy, it will be the users. We all know that the user's are the most important when it comes to it's value, but even so, the users are the most reason why there are some problems in the blockchain. They keep clogging it, there are a lot of users so there will be always a massive number of transactions. Good thing bitcoin is still being developed.

Worst enemy? I would say it that bitcoin itself would be its worst enemy. If no developments will happen into it for sure people would really switch into other crpytos. Thinking off that on saying government is the worst enemy.,i don't think so since they cant do anything on bitcoin since its decentralized.Isolating it would really be a senseless thing to do.

Bitcoin enemies are not altcoins , altcoins cannot fight or substitute bitcoin because they are not widely accepted like bitcoin. Real enemies of bitcoin are the governments who want to have control over everything, banks which want to bash bitcoin whenever they will get an opportunity, bad media those who always talk against bitcoin. These are the known enemies, the enemies which operate in the shadow are big spy agencies like CIA, NSA ,FBI and KGB to name a few.

I agree with your opinion, bankers are the main enemy of bitcoin. cryptocurrencies do threaten some bank services, however, i think banks will take action to play a role in cryptocurrencies

no i do not think that banks are the worst enemies to bitcoin, i think that banks are bound to government and they cannot take any step without government permission. i am sure that when government will turn bitcoin as legal currency banks will also start accepting bitcoin and hope that then they will make their wallet system where one will safely deposit their money.

Nah. The banks plan on co-opting bitcoin and setting up Lightning Hubs to operate the Lightning network on top of Bitcoin. That's why big financial firms like AXA poured money into Blockstream. Basically everything will end up going through a bank middleman, and they will take a cut, just like before.

The worst enemies are bankers because bitcoin is challenging the fiat currencies, and well with this price rising it shows that they can maintain themselves. The other enemy are politics and laws, because there can be laws to help bitcoin establish, but there can be other laws that can ban on not let it get established.

Government and Central banks. Many countries might have legalized Bitcoin. But I can assure you that no country will want a Bitcoin dominated monetary system. Bitcoin is still very new and has user base of some millions. That is why no stringent step have been taken by any country. Banks are already developing their cryptos and some banks are suggesting common public to stay away from cryptos. All over, banks are very well aware of Bitcoin's threat to their system. But Bitcoin still isn't big a phenomenon right now. In future we might see their open hatred.

Definitely governments and global banks. They're used to control the money. With bitcoin, they loose this possibility.

I don't think Bitcoin has got an enemy, in my opinion it has got lots of competitors. Recently one of the major competitor came to the ground which is the bitcoin cash. Other than this I think the FUD spreading personalities to be the enemy for the bitcoin network.

In my opinion bitcoin's biggest potential enemy is the establishment. Sooner or later states, governments and big business will want in on the benefits of bitcoins, this is where i perceive problems arising. Crypto's is accessible for people at the moment, in a way in which big business wouldn't like if given the opportunity to take a hold on the crypto world. Taxation, regulation, monitoring etc are the potential issues.

I agree that government is an enemy of Bitcoin. Many (government) have tried to make Bitcoin illegal, and succeeded in some cases in their jurisdiction. They suppress Bitcoins potential that's why it took a while before Bitcoin exploded in a worldwide scale. Miners are neutral that can be treated as a friend and an enemy as well. Miners mine for only one reason, to gain profit. So if they see that mining bitcoin is not profitable anymore then they can easily jump to another boat. Thus, harming Bitcoin. Another enemy of Bitcoin is Bitcoin (it is not an altcoin ). Bitcoin can also be a threat to itself. Slow confirmation of tx, high tx fees, very volatile, etc that other people might hate about it. This is a considered threat/enemy.

I don't think that altcoins are the no.1 enemy of Bitcoin. There are far more powerful enemies, such as the banking cartels and the wall street giants. Payment solutions such as Visa and PayPal are also not very excited about Bitcoin. And remittance transfer services such as Moneygram and Western Union are afraid that their business will be eaten away by the popularity of the crypto-currency.

Yes you are right that banks are one of the enemy of bitcoin besides other governments regulators but I suppose that banks will start accepting/dealing in bitcoins. There is no other way left for the bankers to adopt dealing bitcoin because it is the biggest threat to banks.

In time I think bitcoins enemy would be the bank because more people will place their money in an online or offline wallet and would keep or if not hold their bitcoins for a long time and for sure lesser people will place their money in banks specially if everyone would know the benefits and advantages of bitcoin.
