This is a interesting topic from what I read here everybody is right I would say. Governments will want to tax bitcoin revenues if it continues to get more and more popular, banks and countries will probably end up dreading their own block chain currencies and the people who want control of bitcoin. Of course we are all human and we want to better ourselves and this can lead to greed. It has happened already in Fiat currencies and commodities
HALF OF THE WORLDS WEALTH IS CONTROLED BY 1% OF THE POPULATION
Bitcoin is not immune

Bitcoin's enemy is education of users. Most people, especially beginners struggle A LOT with learning how to buy and use Bitcoin. Teaching them how to do so is a major uphill battle. I am afraid if anything leads to the downfall of Bitcoin it would be this.

Bitcoin's biggest enemy is its own divided community, moving very slowly towards a scalable solution - meanwhile other coins have big dev teams working hard... Something needs to be done, quickly

Everyone here on forum after earning bitcoins converts it into cash by depositing in banks , so banks are actually getting profit from BItcoins, so why would they be enemy to bitcoins . In my opinions the biggest enemies of bitcoins are the users which misuse the advantage of not disclosing identities , to fund illegal activities. The government would also become an enemy if they fear that their national currency would die and deny the acceptance of BTC in their country.

You can tell me anything what's bitcoin worst enemy is...
Mine is, government!
I think if there are bitcoin's enemy, it will be the users. We all know that the user's are the most important when it comes to it's value, but even so, the users are the most reason why there are some problems in the blockchain. They keep clogging it, there are a lot of users so there will be always a massive number of transactions. Good thing bitcoin is still being developed. I don't fully agree that it is the users which should be considered as the enemy of Bitcoin. The reason why there is a clogging is because there are many users...and that is a happy problem actually. The sad problem is if no one will be using Bitcoin anymore as that mean the death of that coin. The more activities there are the better for the coin that is why we need to scale up the capacity of Bitcoin so that it can serve more and more transactions.

Bitcoin's biggest enemies are 1. Goverment ( Some goverments that are banning bitcoin) 2. Banks. It would be the end of banks if bitcoin is on the top of all of them due to anonimity and open to public also easy to use. 3. Community, why? Bitcoin's price would always depend on the community (including us).

Yes you're right if the government opposes bitcoins we find it hard to get it here.
Just like today. in the chinise goverment as they baned the ICOs. we immediately saw the collapse of almost altcoins and specially the bitcoins. I think that the government can act as a protagonist does not look like we can not develop bitcoins

First of all, seeing the subject "If bitcoin has enemy ( except altcoin) what is it?", how can you say that altcoin is an enemy of bitcoin. Altcoin give good trading opportunity to bitcoin users and it also helps to create competition which is always encourging.

As the Chinese like to say, threat is the perfect mirror of opportunity. All these so-called enemies have also been - at times - the biggest boost for Bitcoin. More governments are friendly towards it than against. More banks are lining up now to get on board the latest blockchain tech. And the community? Who else is driving up prices if not the buyers (and the sellers!)? We get it, we trade for it, we spend it, we now need it more than ever before. Given the choice between earning fiat and Bitcoin, I'd take the latter any time, even though it gives me an immediate 10% loss (for fees and spreads). That's my belief in it and I know I'm not alone.

The ultimate enemy? Ignorance.
Think about all the resistance of Bitcoin stems from. They claim Bitcoin is unreliable, hackable, a pyramid scheme, not worth anything, illegal or for drug dealers. The only way Bitcoin fails is if ignorance prevails.

Bitcoins worst nightmare would be a crashdown of internet and power.
I agree with you the biggest enemy of bitcoins and also altcoins is the loss of Internet connection because Internet is the main medium of bitcoin. Bitcoins are used for online transactions, you also save your btc in digital wallets that needs internet to access, mining sites and all sitea where you can earn btc also run with the use of Internet. So if ever one day Internet will vanish (I think that's impossible because we are in Information Age) , the Bitcoins will gone also.

yeah the number one worst enemy of our so called bitcoin are the governments. recently chinese goverment banned ICO from their country. i dont see any ideal reasons why they chooce to ban this. but i think they want to prove that they are one of the big independent country who not want to use cryptosystem, because of the reason they told that some of ICO are scam but not at all. correct me if im wrong. but this is my side.

For me the 3 is the worst enemy of bitcoin, Government bans bitcoin because it is somehow use in the black market in which the government want to know who are involved in this transactions. Plus bitcoin can be potentially used in terrorism and government of every states dont want that to happen

I don't believe forks have that kind of influence anyway, Everyone can fork a chain, it's very easy. If not taken care of properly these forks have no value anyway, they are not taken serious. If we go by your theory we could fork btc 10 times and kill it?

im agree with you, it is a government because if government block and banned all site about bitcoin and currencies it will affect bitcoin price from all world, but i think the biggest enemy from bitcoin is a scammers, its like investment scam site or scam with another motif. imagine that if your bitcoin that you collect got a scam

But the FUD we have every time a fork happen will have bad image for outside people who are hearing about it . Don't you agree with me that even from the people that know BTC well there are some that got panic and sold there BTC before the fork ! .

Altcoins arent a problem to bitcoin, even if some of them will replace bitcoin into the future, the current big problems for crypto are two, countries against crypto, and banks frozening accounts and closing exchanges accounts, once we conquer this two crypto can finaly grow.
