I've used this forum for a while now checking on scam sites and was not able to find any mention of the new site claimbitcoin.bid.  It has no ranking and appears to be some type of faucet/gambling site?  It doesn't explain much about how it works or is expected to work.  I did not provide any of my wallets or even try it out.  Not sure where to place this topic but thought I'd join up and add this to the general discussion for the sake of awareness and proper sub-forum placement.  Hi thanks for allowing me to join the community and whats your thoughts on this site, should it belong to a list somewhere?  Cheers Smiley

Ok, let's take a look at the website.

Quote
ClaimBitcoin is the Bitcoin generator that everyone has been waiting for. Currently it is the only working Bitcoin generator out there, and at the moment it can generate anywhere from 0.001 to 0.5 Bitcoins per day.!

So, the website is a "Bitcoin generator" that can generate from 0.001 ($5) to 0.5 ($2250) per day for free... Now, if you are a smart person, would know that this already seems like bullshit from the start.

If you want those free coins, you will need to submit the form at the top of the page, and they will ask you to do a survey to complete your "mining". Which may cost you money.

TL;RD: It's a fake website that asks you to do surveys for them, so they can earn money fooling newbies that think you can generate money from nowhere.
I have seen websites like this before. I remember people spamming "invite 5 friends and win a $50 steam card" websites that need you to do surveys in my social medias in the past.

Thanks for checking it out and posting your thoughts.  Since I'ma noob here, is this type of thread considered valuable here?  Meaning as I come across other sites similar to this and they are not found already here (I found a few more new mining sites today), is it considered good to ask these questions here or are there simply so many new scams every day it just clutters up the forums and is frowned upon?  I read the general rules but didn't see anything specific about reporting/inquiring about scams.

I came accross with this site http://my-bitcoin-generator.bid/ I have tried copy paste my bitcoin wallet and click start mining to generate 0.1btc daily after they have finished they were asking for 0.001411 btc as mining fee to pay for the miner. Is there anyone tried this and received the said amount of btc after you have pay the mining fee?

Put yourself on their shoes, How would you profit if you we're giving .1BTC daily for users who just enters their address and click the start mining button?

Obviously it's a classic ponzi scheme with your usual too good to be true offers to lure users and pay the supposedly mining fee which will most likely just go to their pocket. You should avoid sites like this, furthermore look and see that your connection is not even https and secured.

The addresses on their site which they claim to have received the .1BTC is not even real  Cheesy
