Hi there, I've just started mining, and have received some bitcoins as shown here:
http://blockexplorer.com/address/1DS9ZahidboCJN8DwooJJpE7jsxh8DDVyS

But my wallet shows no coins received Sad

Just wait! It'll show up, leave the bitcoin client open for a little while. Smiley

depending how long you've had the client open, you may not have loaded all the blocks, you need to have the entire thing loaded before any transactions will show up, which can take Many hours if it was just recently installed. you can verify you have them all if your count matches this one http://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount if it does and it still hasn't updated, then you just have to wait a bit for it to update.

A cyberspace pirate saw your transaction and hijacked it.

It doesn't need to be confirmed to be visible in the client. As Eri explained, the OP needs to download the block chain.

Just until it catches up to the block that has your transaction in it.

Ok, it's late here, so I'll leave it running overnight (along with the mining), thanks all.
