Title says it all. Anyone have insight to YOYOW? Most of the info I could find was in Chinese, but I do like the STEEM concept and if it gets traction in China it could be huge. Recently added to coinmarketcap, and trading on Binance among a few others.

Well I think this is not so good idea. Why they are creating their own version of steem if they can use the original... I think this platform has no future and their YOYOW coin is worthless.

I just bought in this a few hours ago. This will rocket like all the Chinese coins do. People were saying the same thing about NEO and it being a copy of Ethereum and look at that now. Mark my words, this will hit .50 EASY!

What Savik said.

What about this coin is unique enough that would make people swap from Weixin, RenRen or Weibo? Especially since Weixin is already such a powerful payment system there?

You can bring as much logic to the table as you want, but nothing about cryptocurrency is logical. There are literally thousands of coins you can speculate and trade, which 95% of them are a work in progress, just like YOYOW. All I'm telling you is this coin will have some serious pumps, just like WTC and BNB on Binance. It'll easily break .00005 at some point this month.

Something similar to STEEM is now creating team GUPPY. But I believe that GUPPY is huge potential of more than STEEM.

China has almost 2 billion people and even if it's just a copy of STEEM so you can expect a good growth from it. But in the tops we'll never see

Agree, we can't deny China is the highest populated country in the world, and pretty much their people is known about cryptocurrencies. I believe it will be huge because China people always love their comrade's creation.

Indeed, goes for a lot of things there.

Chinese automotive industry is also the largest in the world, and most non-Chinese people have never heard of any of their brands and cars at all.

Given China's population, from their point of view it actually might be us being the minority and doing the "odd" thing.

YOYOW is focused more on protocol level development rather than platform level which steemit focuses on. therefore YOYOW can enable third party small and medium content creators to mentze content on their own platform unlike steemit which requires one to create content on steemit from scratch.
