etp.altpool.pro is lying about their orphan rate as they are finding orphans but the value is staying at 0%...

Don't trust lying pools:

Better to have a bug in orphan table instead of taking miners money.

metaverse.farm POOL DOES NOT PAY FULL REWARD! POOL TAKE 0.05 ETP from each block to his own wallet! STOP MINING ON METAVERSE.FARM
USE only http://etp.altpool.pro

I have been running metaverse.farm for about 14 hours and my 188 mhs hashrate drops to 161 as reported by the pool. Seems like a significant waste and I'll switch pools.

http://cryptopoolpond.com/#/

ETP Mining Pool Based in USA / EUROPE
How To Mine
In order to mine on this pool you need to have an ethminer installation pointed to
cryptopoolpond.com:8008 / eu.cryptopoolpond.com:8008

YOUR_ETP_ADDRESS
This is your address for payouts, generate one with wallet, or mine directly to exchange like Bitfinex or Bittrex.
Example: MPVYH9GQGZkJc4rZ4ZEx9bnV1mpa3M4whw.
RIG_ID
ID of your farm to distinguish it from your other rig. If you have just one rig, feel free to omit this param. This param must be short alphanumeric string with optional dashes and underscores.
Example: rig-1
Hint: use -U for Nvidia and -G for AMD

Full example:

Mining for NVIDIA / Amd using EthMiner (Please change server to eu.cryptopoolpond.com:8008 if in Europe)

Get the latest Miner from, EthMiner github releases EthMiner. Then start your miners by putting the following commands into a bat file called start.bat (create a text file and paste the code then save it as .bat)

Code:
  setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
  setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
  setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
  setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
  setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
  ethminer.exe -U -SP 1 -S cryptopoolpond.com:8008 -O MPVYH9GQGZkJc4rZ4ZEx9bnV1mpa3M4whw.1 --farm-recheck 1000 -v 2

Mining for NVIDIA / AMD using Claymore (Please change server to stratum+tcp://eu.cryptopoolpond.com:8008 if in Europe)

Get the latest miner from, Claymore's thread Claymore. Then start your miners by putting the following commands into a bat file called start.bat (create a text file and paste the code then save it as .bat)

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
  setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
  setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
  setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
  setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
  EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://cryptopoolpond.com:8008 -ewal MPVYH9GQGZkJc4rZ4ZEx9bnV1mpa3M4whw -eworker main -epsw x -ftime 10 -allcoins 1 --mode 1

Connection settings for Nicehash:

Make absolutely SURE you have set your password as # when using Nicehash!

Code:
  Pool host: cryptopoolpond.com
  Pool port: 3333
  Pool user: MPVYH9GQGZkJc4rZ4ZEx9bnV1mpa3M4whw
  Pool pass: #
  Algorithm: DaggerHashimoto

That lie that altpool spread about us was about a cosmetic issue on the reward calculations. It had no effect on actual reward. The code is based on ETH so has lots of display issues.

Do not mine at altpool.pro. You can earn way more with less hashpower at https://metaverse.farm.

Altpool is hiding orphaned blocks and high fees. Metaverse.farm has LOW ORPHAN RATE.

Altpool 1.04 GIGAHASH = 5.16 ETP IMMATURE

Metaverse.farm 903 MEGAHASH = 6.44 ETP IMMATURE

this is not just a display issue... coming directly from API means he has these values in redis as well...
Looks like cryptopoolpond also has the lower block rewards.
http://cryptopoolpond.com:8080/api/blocks

since they got the same wrong values I assume it is a bug and not intentional. Still it means lower value for the miners tho.

Guys if you cannot calculate the correct value hard-code it in
Code:
/payouts/unlocker.go handleBlock function
Code:
	reward := math.MustParseBig256("3000000000000000000")
if correctHeight >= 500000 && correctHeight < 1000000 {
reward = math.MustParseBig256("2850000000000000000")
} else if correctHeight >= 1500000 {
reward = math.MustParseBig256("2707500000000000000")
}
The above code should be good until block 1.5 million, take care about the number of zeroes there, that depends on your pools resolution.

edit: looks like metaverse.farm is fixed now

Utter bullshit. You know nothing of my backend. The "default" API that comes with Open-Eth-Pool you never communicate with on my server, content is constantly cached and parsed by my backend - this was my miscalculation from taking data from redis.

yes you do almost at a rate of one per sec.

i'm fairly competent with english but this sentence makes no sense. throwing a few technical words back to back makes you look cool tho.

in any case i wrote its already fixed on your pool, and I abhor pointless polemics. If your users are happy who am I to comment.

Best of luck.

what would minimal hardware requirements be to start mining ETP?

you can mine with any decent graphics card, gtx1070/1060s are popular, amd rx480/580 as well. gtx 1080 is horrible, gtx 1080TI and amd vega has best hashrates BUT they have huge power consumption.

No, you have no idea what you're talking about. I store the reward as a raw value in MySQL which is also stored in redis, and then calculate it for the payouts. PHP also does the same which is the API you see. I missed out Floor() on my PHP calculations. This is done via cron job and then varnish serves the static content.

"Technical words" - You're talking to someone who works as a TSE for a company which services large banks, Microsoft, Google...

Your users seem to enjoy lack of innovation and high fees. But who am I to comment that you are in it just for the money?

Also, if you look at the OFFICIAL METAVERSE pool their rewards are MUCH lower than the 2.85... Are you going to say they're bugged too???
