Who is the real one with block reward issues?





Our pool has a high luck rate and finds lots of blocks and pays out a real reward to miners.

We have only 22.86GH/s but we find 65 blocks (2.84 blocks per GH). dodopool has 76.65GH/s and finds 183 blocks (2.38 blocks per GH).

That’s why it’s up 24/7, has a reward system of 5 ETP daily and let’s you get it to 0% fee? Also has 24/7 DDOS protection and your site is almost always down. You tell me I don’t know how to run a pool lol.

Missing something like 0.3 / 0.8 ETP oO so far DodoPool pay better 4/4.5 ETP per day, i will let run this one for 24 hours more but it seems i will go back to dodopool

Hi All.
I was searching for some coin, eligible for solo mining. Considering network hashrate - this one is looking good. However was trying to google for a way to mine it solo with just a wallet and claymore miner and found nothing. Did anybody found a way for solo mining without using solo pool?

I have a rig doing ~75 MH/s on a very crappy high latency low speed connection. I tried "dodo" for some days giving ~ 50 MH/s due to high reject rate, now I'm trying "farm" and have the same ~ 50MH/s, with no rejects at all.

Has somebody a recomendation how to increase the rate on pool, not being able to make the connection better?

why is every pool reporting a different Network Hash Rate?

Network hashrate is "estimated" there is not a physical way to know 100% correctly.

The estimation depends on what the pool operator puts in the "estimated block time"
This time was 14 seconds for ethereum (for which the open ethereum pool is designed for) and most pools keep this number.
Metaverse has a 24 seconds theoretical block time (32 seconds real block time)
I have decided to use 24 on dodopool, thinking this will give a better indication. This however may or may not be wrong. I am not sure.


edit: on a manual calculation:
dodopool has around 80-90GH/s and mines around 140-150 blocks consistently of the last 1000 blocks. If we assume 140 blocks and 80Gh
140 / 1000 = (dodo hashrate) / (network hashrate)
140 / 1000 = 80 / NH

NH = 571.42Gh so 24 seconds gives a rather good estimation.

I'm curious about your block payouts, because I found a block last night and yet to see it paid out to me. Both the immature and pending balance have yet to reflect a block reward. Those numbers are the same as they were before finding the block. Now I'm aware block payouts aren't instantaneous which brings me to my question of how long it takes to see the payout of our blocks and where can we see that we are paid out our block reward?
Are the blocks broken up when showing up in the immature balance and balance to be paid or will we see the Block Reward amount?
