Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Coinbase has high daily limits and can connect directly to your bank account for inexpensive transfers. The times I have used them have gone smoothly and quickly.

Screw exchanges. Power to the people bro! Use Local Bitcoins. You might just find some buyers if that doesn't work than try selling 'em on here and if that still doesn't work then use the exchange as your last resort.

I buy coins and btc-e codes.. I can do paypal or debit card through google checkout.. I do btc-e codes dollar for dollar and I pay the fee.. I do ltc and btc at btc-e spot price.. If you sell to me your coins they will be resold to mostly new market participants... You can check me out at this link and any of the tags below.

I recommend Coinbase also for tax purposes. When the time comes to report your taxes they make it really easy to do that.

@sublime5447

After reading your two posts in this thread, I've come to the conclusion that you're batshit insane.

@OP

I'd suggest coinbase, done plenty of transactions there and it's super easy.  Probably the easiest legit way to buy/sell bitcoins that I've seen.

The nice folks at my power company do not agree. They want me to pay the bill in actual dollars. (Of the Kiwi variety.)
