Waves vs IOTA

I didn`t invest in this two coins yet, I would like to buy one of this coins, or maybe both I`m not sure yet. I have around 70 mBTC which is close to 350$ at the moment.
Waves is currently traded for $4.43 (-13.74%)
IOTA $0.618832 (-15.67%)
Bot are going down at the moment, and I like to buy in dips. But which of this two coins is best investment for the long term holding, lets say year or more. Recently I watched few videos on you tube, some guys are predicting crypto market and they are like very experienced in trading most of them have good words about IOTA and theymos here in his thread about alt-coins mentioned IOTA- as one coin that have some technical innovations.
What is the best thing to do, I would like to hear your opinion about this two coins and their future. I will make my decision in next couple days, I don`t plan to wait too much. Thanks for all suggestions.

both are very good coins, but in this case, I prefer IOTA rather than waves, where IOTA shows better progress.

1. Go down to the pub.

2. Tell everybody you are buying them free drinks instead of pissing your money away on sinking crypto currencies.

3. Watch how many new friends you make.

Um, these are horrible speculative investments. IOTA is broken (tangle) and waves is worse off code-wise. People don't research anymore...

Out of the two I would go for IOTA as it is still in the early stages whereas Waves has been around for a bit longer and we can already see it's limitations, IOTA on the other hand potentially has the scope to outgrow everything and really could be the next big thing.

Wave excellent long-term investment they will cost more than$ 10. But iota illiquid Scam. Get rid of them as soon as possible.

I like waves, and already i am invest to buy some waves. i think waves future is to better for us. It's have a good platform.
IOAT also have a future but i think it's not like that waves.
actually i think this two coins is best investment for the long time holding.

IOTA is a shitcoin with to many coins and will never be 5$ maybe not even 2-3$. Waves on the other hand are most undervalued coins, they had the biggest news in crypto the last few months and haven't pumped yet. They should trade at least around 50-60$ in Q1 2018.

Spent a while on the waves slack. I once thought it was a decent project, but they've had a series of really good news cycles and the price didn't move at all. Makes me think there is something fundamentally flawed with it.

I'm a believe in Waves, but it sounds like you're purchasing with bitcoin; to be honest I'd keep your bitcoin. Bitcoin should come back quickly and will probably rebound quicker than Waves so you might get it at even a bigger discount.

Thanks for suggestions, I decided to invest little over 30 mbtc in IOTA. I will start with little. I watched price and graphics. IOTA dropped a lot from couple dollars to 13.000 satoshis, and maybe this is bottom, at least I see that.
I bought coins and I expect price to go over one 1$ in next year, if I see price going down more I will get out and save some bitcoins. This not means that I will not buy waves too, just that will wait more. I think both coins have a nice future and many people are talking good stuff about this coins. Iota is unknown for me but I don't think it can defeat the fame of waves since its name has been noisy on cryptocurrency world and IOTA is just unknown. But If there's little assumption for this coin I think we should try to grab some and invest with this two coin since comparing them cannot do nothing to our pockets.

I think waves is a better investment overall as people regard is as an ethereum killer and it can show higher rates of growth in future.

Waves didn`t make rise like IOTA now, after few months of waiting I`m getting out on x5. Iota is 2,5$ and I was buying under 0,5$. I don`t know will it rise more, I think this will be the top here. I will wait next couple days to see what will happen and most likely I will buy IOTA again if it drops.
I didn`t make mistake with investing in IOTA.

Tell me more about waves, how much can waves rise in next 6 months? I follow waves price and its around 5$ now maybe 6$, how much do you expect price to rise in this period? Or you think that waves is for longer term holding, longer then 6 months?
