It should be Ripples and waves for me in altcoins. There are many coins that appears but these two coins are the coins that only i know in altcoins. Since this is altcoin discussion these are the coins that were known in altcoins so I just prefer these coins. And for me this are the coins that best to buy. But over all just choose bitcoins, altcoins and ethereums to be general.

With the current dip, I'll buy as much of NEM and Ripple as I can, because I feel they are lower than their actual price at the moment. Buy from top 10, so its a reliable investment and you don't lose much.

I would say Bitcoin, ETH and Ripple are the best choices at this time. ETH will surely increase  after  major deal with Russia and XRP started increasing.

If you want to invest, this is a great time to buy altcoin. you can start buying eth, ripple, waves, syscoin, golem and many more. i will hold this altcoin, and i guess later its price will be good.

I would like to buy BTC, ETH, WAVES, NEO etc. These all coins will be long term basis, profitable and obviously should be worth buying. There may difference if you are looking short time or long time.

To me, you can check the first 10 altcurrencies and buy in ascending order depending on your pocket's might.  All the exchanges had already arrange the coins according to their strength from 1st to infinity. Just check and make your decision.

Would be better to do your own research rather than asking this question. Because most of members in here have different opinion about which coins are the best to buy and it may lead to confusion if you don't filter them carefully.

While you search by yourself, you can identify the information more accurately and you may not regret with your decision if something worse happened.

those who choose golem is now gaining 23% and i think this coin also got some potentials inside the trading exchange since most of or almost all
of those coins got to its dip now choosing big volume coins is a must to be checked OP, in order to make sure that you will be benefiting from that
current crash.

Monero - it has truly anonymous transfer that can't be traced like BTC/ETH. Big appeal.
Bitcoin Cash - lower transaction fees and faster confirmation times than bitcoin and same deflationary cap.
Ethereum - the smart contract platform of choice for most of the world
NEO - the smart contract platform of choice for China

Bitcoin is still the best coin to buy especially it took a dip recently after reaching new ATH. For altcoins, I will go for ETH and NEM. Nem have a very good road map and they are very busy right now. It will be very big for Nem in the next few months. I am also eyeing waves, I think it will have a very good price soon too.

I have invested in a few different ICO's / Presales since the price of Ethereum has dropped.

One that caught my eye was Crowdholding, since they are in their pre-sale it's a great chance to get more for your money.

They match all the criteria i look for in a ICO / Pre sale (good strong team on all fronts, solid ideology, finite coins and a good whitepaper)

I think the best coins to buy are from an exchange, buy coins with super low values.  Because if the coin goes from .00005 to .0001 you have doubled your money and it isn't that much of a change really.
