I'm so glad the hard fork was a success! This was much needed to stay true to the coin's moto "people are power" because asics where just making everything unfair for the small miners. I setup my miners to mine this again. Considering there is no exchange yet, I don't mind mining this for now, it makes mining more valuable and in turn the coin can have a more backed up price once it hits exchanges but there's still the danger of miners dumping too much, the more they mine, the more they have to cover expenses. I'm lucky I'm not dependant in mining to cover my costs, but some other mining operations might need to realise value when mining.

If each of us throws at least $ 10, then you can collect the necessary amount to be placed on the exchange. While each of us will wait for the first step from others, then the coin will die sooner or later. Collecting donations to the purse of DEV does not inspire confidence in the community (no offense), so there is practically no donate.
Earlier, the fees for placement were conducted by the stock exchanges themselves (Cryptopia as far as I can remember), where people saw how much to pay for the placement. That kind of donations I think would support many of us.

Well north of $160K at the moment. It's 5m of their DOT currency to be listed, and the bid is 325 Sat. To buy the whole 5m that are needed, you'd spend on the far side of 16BTC if you could even get filled for that amount. It's beyond insane.

It's very refreshing to see such a positive and productive message every now and then, standing out of the daily sea of "when exchange" diarrhea 

Regarding exchanges, the last thing I saw a few months ago was that HitBTC asked for 50 BTC for a listing. Now with BTC having dropped by 50% maybe they want 100 BTC. There are obviously so many ICO scams out there willing to pay $1M to get their scam tokens listed and then cash-out on the herd of greater fools, that exchanges have thrown all their sanity out of the window and they will list any scam token if paid up-front a large part of the to-be-scammed money.

HitBTC is clearly one of those exchanges. There are likely many others. If Cryptopia asks for more than $100k, then they belong to that category as well.

Or maybe some exchange will be interested to list IRD for free to attract new traders. Why? Because IRD exists from september 2017 already, has a lot of supply right now and people are willing to sell it and even buy. So, its normal to list it for free on som exchange and get some profits for everyone: miners, investors, developers, exchange bosses.

I think IRD is good project. However there is no 'concept' with IRD so far. For example 'Intensecoin = VPN', anonymity is very common among the monero forks. 'People are power' is just not enough.
