Masari scam, read the Russian branch.
No, Iridium is not a scam : It began with a scam but I take the project in hands when the first (no-)dev ran away. Read this and after : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2150442.msg32792500#msg32792500We are now 3 hard forks later, Iridum is on Tradeogre, Crex24 and altex and grow slowly but surely. So please, if you speak russian, correct the russian thread as I can not ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) edit : what's the point with masari ?

No, Iridium is not a scam : Neither Masari nor Iridium are scams. That ASIC loving pot avatar guy had his brain go up in smoke a long time ago. Not sure what he is still doing here after the anti-ASIC HF.

##################################################### The new website is online !https://ird.cashthanks to @Datapotomus for the work, thanks to @comfuzzio for providing the video animation from gigblastplus ( https://www.fiverr.com/gigblastplus), @cryptoguy for the servers and all contributors. ##################################################### great work! it is awesome! The website looks very good. It is very hard to find a CN coin with no (or low) premine and fairlaunch. I found three of them. Monero, Masari, and Iridium. Masari scam, read the Russian branch. Lmao this guy is a meme.

Would anyone be interested in making or just using platform itself where we could trade stuff or services for IRD?
There is certainly interest on this from the dev team. Currently it's difficult for normal vendors to accept most Crypto Coins because they don't have easy ways to transact the coins. We have a couple of items on the roadmap to help with this. The first item is creating a WooCommerce plugin so that people can accept Iridum on their websites. The second set of items is the standard need: secure Web Wallet and a Mobile Wallet. The first item we are working on is the WooCommerce plugin. This should be done by June or so. Once you have that item, I think conversations with vendors can go much more easily. That said, everyone should feel free to promote Iridium to the people that they interact with. I just know that it will be difficult to convince your coffeeshop to accept iridium for now because of the lack of technology (we have this on the roadmap to fix). -Shaun at Iridium Coin

It's great to see the trading volume jump way up. Price is moving up as well. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) How much volume do we need to see before getting listed on coinmarketcap?

Why exactly do you think PoS is better than PoW? Don't you think PoS reduces market liquidity?

PoS is rewarding wealth. PoW is rewarding work. Therefore PoS = Piece of Sh.. Iridium is PoW. Those who want to see the fraudulent legacy financial system, where newly issued money goes to the billionaires/monopolists, the friends of the central bankers, and then eventually a tiny bit of it "trickles down" to their wage slaves, bering introduced in crypto too --> Support PoS coins. Those who want to see crypto as a system where newly issued money goes directly to the workers (aka miners) --> Support PoW coins I guess most of the kids who scream for PoS on this and other forums have no clue what that concept really means. I doubt they are rich, probably just stupid.

If you think about it, it's the same thing, you don't mine with your hand bro, you mine with your gpu,cpu or whatever, at the end of the day it's still money. They can have a big farm or they can buy coins, same thing it's still money. PoS is better in a sense that it does not allow big company like Bitmain to have asics for themselves (they usually mine with asics for months before selling them). PoS will prevent that.

And how to prevent PoS low liquidity and whales buying giant loads of it just to gain a fat passive income?
