I think it was only a matter of time when something like this was gonna happen. Let's see how they recover from the hit, maybe it is going to be just a necessary set back to get to new highs again.

Yes almost all cryptocurrency is going down this day maybe it's effect from china banned ICO, but it's great moment too, to hold some altcoin at low prices if you want.
I just hope it's not the end of cryptocurrency

If you remember properly, the big slide in 2013 December was caused by rumors from China about a possible Bitcoin ban. The prices slid from $1,230 per coin in 2013 to almost $200 per coin in 2016. I just hope that this time it is not going to repeat. Are we prepared for an 80% decline in the exchange rates? I really doubt that we are.
I don't know whether others are prepared for this decline but I myself have no issue with it. I was expecting the dip to occur, lately so the reduction in values has not surprised me. Also, when we will recover from this situation, the number of users will be even greater.

I saw today that the price dropped to almost all the cryptocurrency available on the market. does anyone know something about this topic? what to expect next days ?
its normal bro it always happened even before its always dropped then climbed into high value. we cannot say that all crypto currency will be dead because its dropped deeply  this situation always happened.. .as of now i saw  that other currency still recovering and .so there is a potential that all currency will be stable soon. .if i was you buy now and sell it in future when all currency became stable to get more profit.

The Chinese government banned ICOs. Naturally as a result, alt coins started dropping. People are fearful they won't be able to get their money out with the government cracking down.

For the next couple of days I think it will blow over and go back up, but only time will tell.

I agree with you that if one industrialized / developed country have fallen the ICO everything will in account will also fall. But it does not mean that bitcoin is fail and will be stable as falling down in a London Bridge, I know maybe time will only tell when will bitcoin will rise and gets stable and up again.

Altcoins bave been through this kind of situations - there's a point where altcoin price drop drastically, and then go up the other day. One reason about it is explained by the law of supply and demand. When people don't sell their altcoin, the price of that certain altcoin will probably stable. Once that a number of holders sell their coins  but only few buyers buy (meaning, there's a huge amount of supply), the tendency is the price of that altcoin will go down. But if most people hold on their altcoins and a lot of people are looking to buy (meaning, there's a high demand), then the price would probably go up. Remember that this is just one case of why altcoin price is changing. There's a lot of possible reasons for that, but this is the basic in the world of economics.

it will continue to bounce back as what we are seeing right now but still its the traders and investors that will make an create the new ath, everything will
be move accordingly traders will keep assessing and investing and for sure will hold which ever coins they have inside their wallet.

Actually the price of digital coins went down were good for the traders and investors, it was chance to got the profit from fluctuation of digital coins, the fluctuation of price is not something scary.

I agree with you. It is not scary to see a falling price in the market because it is like a huge discount for the coins that we are watching and we can grab that chance to buy a lot of cheaper coins than before and generate some income if we will have another increase on the price like what is happening now in bitcoin and other altcoins.

Don't worry. It's normal. When Bitcoin pumps, Some alts will dump. It's a reverse effect on some alts. But you don't have to worry, Bitcoin will have a correction and will decrease in value. What goes up , must come down.

if the cryptocurrency could not attach in

you mean the same shake as the "government regulation of Japan" did to the market?
then yeah, it will shake it pretty good. the market will wake up from its sleep of small rises and will shoot up to the moon if they do what Japan did and regulate bitcoin. we can expect $100,000 per coin by that time.

Ah yes. This is actually good news!™

While I generally find it very positive that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies start to find their place in the legal frameworks of the world, not every regulatory attempt may be as sane and benign as Japan's. I doubt that the USA, Russia or China will try to kill off Bitcoin any time soon, but politics can be fickle if you're on the wrong side of whatever is currently being lobbied.

this may be the beginning of the end of cryptocurrency? because i think that other governments can take this as an example with all this repercussions...and let's be honest ... wich powerful government does not want to have full control over money?
Seriously? The beginning of the end of cryptocurrency just because of a decision made by a country on ICOs? Guess you are just kidding. Wonder why people bother too much about rise and fall of all digital currencies at the same time, it is not new. Anything can cause it just like a normal forex market. The high volatility level is just the difference between the two.

i think that we shouldn't just get used to fluctuations of prices but also from the exaggerated statements of some people in this community because

it is a common strategy to sway people. the banning of ico's has really some effect on the prices but this shouldn't become a trigger to the fall of

cryptocoins because the fork didn't even so why should this? looking from the markets now, the price has already gone back to normal

Any negative news about bitcoins and altcoins would affect most of the time the prices or value of these coins. And that's something normal in the world of cryptocurrencies. But it does go back up after a while, it can't go down forever.

I'll tell you what happened. This fall is similar to the fall that happened between 11 June and 15 July this year when the bitcoin was 3000 USD. Now the bitcoin price has attained the value of 5000 USD (on September 1st), it will continue to fall until 3800-4000 USD. Then it will start to grow again until 7000 USD.

You can tell this from the bitcoin/USD chart from investing.com
 https://www.investing.com/currencies/btc-usd-chart

Look at this chart at 1 Day, place on it the Bolinger Bands and the Stochastic, you will see that the bitcoin price is under the average value of 4400 USD. It will continue to fall until 3800-4000 when the stochastic will start to go up. At that moment my advice for you is to BUY.

Sep 08 been a higher low than Sep 05 and that has been higher than Aug 22, this support line started at Aug 05 so beeing on a rather short timescale. A longer lasting line would catch today's level merely at end of November again, leaving space downwards still.
Trend since mid sommer: Bullish, but not on rocketfuel.
Depends upon further Segwit progress now.

China is the main reason why i guess. They banned ICOs first and then some random guy/group spread some bull shit rumor stating that bitcoin and the whole crypto currency will be banned for ever and people started selling because of this fear,I am not sure if its true or not from what I heard I am telling you.
