Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ?

Whenever i remember my bad times i remember those peoples also who lost their everything in this gambling addiction. i want to know what you think about such peoples and how they need to survive after so much losses in their life.
I personally knows some people who are in big debt and they even cant recover that debt and tries to commit suicide every time . so guys can you tell me whats the best solution for them regain their happiness in their life ?

This thread is only for those peoples opinion who faced such situations and recovered or atleast know how to tackle such situations in easy way ( btw i know its not easy )

It is really important to stop gambling. It will be impossible to change  or "fix" your(his) life if that person will keep gambling. It's possible to pay every debt though, it just takes time. He should find a job so that he would have monthly income first.

Here is some tips from me, hope it will fix you :

• do not gamble with the money you cannot afford to lose
• do not make gamble as your priority
• go get a real job, and do not use gambling as your job
• always know that there is always a possibility of cheater
• if you already in debt, you must find a job to pay it
• you must realize that gambling cannot pay your debt
• gambling only make your debt worse, unless you are lucky
• do not depend your life on luck
• etc

I never tried to gamble someone else money. Even if i am addicted to gambling and even i lose my budget for 1 month in gambling i never thought of borrowing money to someone just to gamble the reason is that i know the risk in gambling and if i lose that money that i owe to someone i will be increasing my problem and for me it is hard to fix too many problems.

What your doing is right because even after you know these games are very risky shouldn't borrow money to play these games. But people like you may be very less because most of the addicted gamblers don't think about the future but for that movement they need a money to play these games so they will tell all kinds of stories to raise funds from others and after losing that money then they will realize their mistake when need to face other kinds of issues.

If that certain hobby could be found then it might go well.

I doubt if there is anybody who will admit that he is a problematic gambler who is in debt as a result of that. If we have such individual then the is need for therapy because its obvious he has not stopped to be here. I gamble as well but not to the point of using someone else's resources for that purpose and even my own money, there is a limit that I can go to gamble with it. When that is known before hand, problem and troubles will be avoided.

It's normal that gamblers deny that they're addicted on gambling,  as much as they can they will keep it secret or pretend that they can still manage it, even they are in debts they will keep on playing it.As I've said gamblers with Debt is not new. Many of Gamblers (Addict Gamblers) had debts and they need to realize that it will not cause good on them.

Gamblers have no idea about their ruined conditions and borrowing some money for getting satisfaction won't be any harmful action according to them. If they were that much smart ever, they would not have become an addict at the first place.

The gamblers who gamble should not accede from their limits rather they will be in debts and the recovery will be very difficult. So I suggest to all the gamblers to gamble within the range and not to lose anything you have. Stop gambling if you are losing continuously. The day is not in their favor and gamble on some other day if they want but having in debts create a lot of unrecoverable problems.

The main problems are that they lose everything they have in their wallets. Even they lose not only their profits from bitcoin but also their investments if they have any, because the gambling is very worst thing and those who are addicted of gambling never stop till they win or lose everything. Many people I have seen in my life became mentally disturbed due to gambling because they have lost everything.

You are one of them, which i like, i like your type of gambler. If everyone understand it, then only we play gambling for fun and have a skill to control ourself but people have greediness. It is not a fault if we are greedy, its human nature, we want more and then more, then gambling is money game, we see money then pneumatically we become greedy, but sensible gamblers have a skills to control it and save ourself from debt.

But if one thing that they can't afford to get these fun then, there are many other ways people can spend their free time and get entertainment. Its not easy i personaly know person which he had big debt,he lose house,cars and lot of money but he stops to play over the night for begining this is a crucial decision by the time he paid some his debts but he stops to gamble,in those moments, the most important thing is to find a motive to continue life.

I've also felt that way. But my debt is not in large quantities. I just sold my phone. In gambling games, it is very prone to debt. Therefore, dont bet in large numbers in order not to be in debt when it gets defeated.

It was hard to change my mindset to you can't win them all and only gamble what I can afford to lose. It took a while to work off debts accrued but at least now I can gamble for fun rather than profit.

I think staying away from gambling is the best thing to do,  because thats what I did when I was in debt but not that much, around $5,000 and I sold some of my appliances. No matter what, dont ever sold or pawn your house. While when I was in debt I was looking for a way to double or atleast make half of my income every month, I also talked to the person that I owe. I work hard for it, and staying away from gambling as much as possible , Then slowly I was paying for my debt till I finished paying.
Its up to a person whether he wants to recover as early as possible or stay losser forever. We have different mindset with different personality. Recovering from debts is the only way to regain their happiness. Stay away from gambling for a while now, he can go back from gambling after he recovered but with extreme precaution and self control.

Probably, the main problem of gambling is, people forget the basic rule, only gamble what you can afford to loose, those people who enjoyed playing gamble, but they also suffered and struggled their debt. The salary isn't enough for the family to provide, that's why more loans was overdue because of the gamble is giving more priority rather than family necessities. There's nothing wrong with gambling if you intend to do just for fun and always be mindful of every amount you gamble.

I think it's strange (not impossible) that you can basically go from being addicted to gambling to gambling casually.
Once you're a problem gambler, it's so difficult to even quit and nearly impossible to not become addicted again once you start gambling 'for fun' again.

There's a good reason why alcoholics for example need to quit drinking altogether and can't have another drink anymore after they've gone into rehab or whatever.

If it's difficult to get the money back why then gamble for fun? Because yo are going to loose more gambling for fun that is why I agree with your earlier statement that he shouldn't repeat the same mistake by gambling with a borrowed money because that makes us irresponsible as gamblers.

Why in the hell would someone go and borrow money just to gamble, this is one of the signs of a complete gambling addict who has no control over their actions at all. And am sure the said person is piling a lot of debts on the way because what i have noticed is that desperate people don't win when they gamble.

That is something we have to avoid, chasing our loses is a big recipe to disaster and you will likely to loss control if you keep doing that.
Be smart and accept if you loss in a certain day because you still have a chance to win tomorrow, what's necessary is to always spend based on your limit as gambling is a big risk game that does not guarantee a win.
