Hi.

You need to, in the current version of SWIPP, put exactly 20.000 SWIPP in collateral for the masternode. That error means that you have put the wrong amount as collateral. If you enable coin controls in the settings of the wallet you can better see the exact amount put in each individual address of your wallet.

We have now worked out all the details of the specifications of SWIPP. We also wanted everybody to know that the maximum supply of the currency will be set to 14 million (we were planing 13m initially). As previously stated, a masternode will require 50.000 SWIPP. Masternodes payments will receive 40% of PoW/PoS blocks.

In essence, this means that if 100% of SWIPP was allocated to masterrnodes (including all future coins), we would have 280 instances up and running. If, we for some reason need more masternodes in the network in the future, the collateral might be lowered. Right now, prices are still very low, so we advice anybody that intends on running a MN to invest - it will quickly become tougher to get one as time goes by.

We are trying to make SWIPP more attractive to invest in. Raising the masternode collateral while also raising masternode returns is just one of the things we are changing.

If we look at the original paramters of SWIPP - the maximum number of masternodes equals 2500 nodes... A lower currency value (because of the bigger supply) and almost 10 times more possible masternodes would equal much lower returns. This is something we intend to do something about.

Yes, this is correct.

We hope to release the new daemon and wallet before we hit block 90 000. It's currently a race against the clock (we are now at 82 000).

Im really diggin' how active the dev-team is being. A large part of this is early getting things going and showing that you guys are doing stuff! Love the engagement.

If I knew how to actually compile this thing I would happily be a test bunny, sadly I have very little programming knowledge.

20.000 SWIPP collateral = 700 nodes maximum
30.000 SWIPP collateral = 466 nodes maximum
50.000 SWIPP collateral = 280 nodes maximum

We don't want too many masternodes - as it diminishes payments. Maybe we can do a compromise here and go for 30.000 in collateral. That would keep the maximum number of masternodes under 500. What does everybody think ?

Yes, I think 30.000 in collateral is better than 50.000

And if SWIPP has a real product or an excited project, more people will be willing to buy some nodes
