Okay so I know quite a bit about bitcoins but this time its over my head and I'm quite worried here. First off, my wallet is 1Fy1AwqEkXesQAuuzX8LXpiR9UU4xTwDV9. Last night I had a couple spare change in the wallet (.016 BTC) and sent it to coinroll.it, a gambling site based on dice roll. I sent that transaction with a .0001 fee attached.
Here is that transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/da9f4ea54510afbd1df673d26f343e13077e031f00a113c59ab73d6d7b5dbe4f

Anyways I later sent a couple BTC to my wallet and it never showed up, so I reset my block chain and transactions (I am using a multibit wallet) by going to the tools column and clicking on the reset chain. I reset it from yesterday. Anyways my .016 transaction got deleted from my wallets history. I thought nothing of it and figured once it confirms it'll show up. HOWEVER, its been over 12 hours and still no confirmation...I'm really worried here. I tried sending 2.55 BTC that I have in my wallet but it won't send, it shows up as a square in my transaction history and doesnt show up on blockchain. I reset my block history again and that 2.55 I sent disappeared and never even had been on the chain. I even tried attaching a fee of .01 later on trying again to send the 2.55, waited 10 blocks, never showed up. I really am worried I am out the 2.55+ BTC that is in my wallet.

I am offering a .1 BTC reward for anyone who can tell me information that can get my 2.55 BTC out of my wallet within 30 minutes of explaining it to me. Saying "you got to wait for the transaction to confirm" won't get you that reward. I am not a miner nor a porgrammer so I'm hoping theres a way to still send unspent inputs here and if so that is what the .1 reward is for. Please PM me or comment here if you know a solution to this matter.

Thanks

.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Here is what's the blockchain knowledge about your address: https://blockchain.info/address/1Fy1AwqEkXesQAuuzX8LXpiR9UU4xTwDV9

Its current balance is 2.56619424 BTC so it seems that it's that 2.55+ BTC you are talking about. Your client probably tried to send it but it was dropped out by the miners and now your client thinks its already sent.

The easiest thing for you to do is to export private key for this address and import it into another client. You can create a blockchain.info online wallet for that. Then spend it from that client - send it to another address that you own. You will do that without problems as the only node that thinks these coins are spent is probably your Multibit client. This should give you back control over your 2.55 BTC.

Try PMing "piuk" on the forums. He runs blockchain.info.

As for the typical use case, it usually comes back to you automatically in a day or so whenever this happens at blockchain.info.

Export your private key from whatever client you are using, then create a blockchain.info wallet and import private key under the import/export tab.

Buy a TREZOR! Premier BTC hardware wallet. If you're reading this, you should probably buy one if you don't already have one. You'll thank me later.

Please keep in mind that it will most likely export all your keys, and if you have more bitcoins in another addresses managed by this wallet, you might not necessarily want to export these addresses. I don't know what format Multibit uses and if it is easy to open the export file in a text editor and copy&paste just a single key.

Okay, I exported the file and it is now wallet1.key in my documents folder...When I go to blockchain and try importing, it doesn't let me choose a file I have to copy and paste test. I tried opening the private key document but nothing came up, no text to copy. Multibit said it successfully exported it however.

Not sure what operating system you're using. Try to right click and select “Open with...” or something similar and then choose Notepad or something similar.
