If you want a legit mining site, it is Hashnest, backed by Bitmain which produces the Antminer device for mining bitcoin. It will not give you money without investing, and even if you invest you will not get your investment back because they add maintenance fees and electricity fees to your Gigahashes that you buy there. Also the difficulty keeps increasing so your rewards keeps going down. You cannot make any money now with legit cloud mining websites.

are you serious? where do you find a cloud mining site with no investment and do nothing there is no cloud mining pay you for free, if there is such a site that is probably a scam or pay you very little, actually there is no such cloud mining, almost all cloud mining does not pay for free and scams, I did not say that all scams had just a few of them.

You are here at wrong timing. The cloud mining investment was good business back in 2013 or so. It's not profitable now and only scam stuff is happening everywhere. Those sites which used to be big player in this like genesis and hashflare have gave out some freaky news which made them to put into ambiguity list where they may or may not pay people. There's really no point in trying to cloud mine because it's unprofitable for both sides. The profits from mining are so small that if you allow people to charge you fees for it you're not going to earn anything. The majority of the cloud mining services are a scam, but not all of them. If we look at Antpool and ViaBTC for example, they are legitimate mining operations, and thus you for sure know that they have mining gear running in their farms. Genesis Mining is a perfect example of an outright scam -- they time on time refuse to be open when it comes to their "major farm". If we look at the profitability aspect, then it's safe to say that every cloud mining service (legit or scam) is NOT profitable. If that isn't reason enough to avoid this rotten industry, I don't know what is....

The cloud mining is nothing but way of extracting money from our wallets. There is no real mining operation is implanted behind those clouds! Speaking hypothetically there should be miners behind these clouds to solve the blocks and get the reward. That will also earned by them (the company) and when there is profit left over after the calculation that will be redistributed to you. However, nothing like that happens in reality because no machines are present there. Better stay away from the chaos and invest into real projects, may be like ICO are something similar.

If you mine with your GPU also you cannot able to make the decent amount in bitcoins and nowadays most of the people move to altcoins mining like Monero and Zcash.
