I'm using waves platform for trading and think if developers will continue improve it, will one of the most popular platforms. Mythoughts about Waves are: need to hold waves for a long period and it will be profitable.

I think that WAVES have still some spoils and shortcoming, however it is a really nice platform
but as I see more often people prefer to use ERC20 instead of WAVES

Yeah many people have more interest in the eth platform than waves. Like when we hear that this token is based on waves platform we easily gets a No answer as this token will don't have a future that unlike a token that based on eth platform we're all optimistic that it'll be promising. Yes there's always a discrimination between the two but this is how people see it.

I believe that this investment can still be difficult for the average investor to understand. The average investor who is hesitant to make the decision and there is a dilemma in taking conclusions on their own. It is important to have a good understanding of this, because whoever understands it can invest at lower level and take advantage

The future is never certain, but the price of Waves does not seem to be moving at all. In most cases, it is declining. However, with the ability to build on the platform and launch ICOs, it has a future with many developers choosing it over Ethereum.

You're right the future is never certain.
But I think Waves can get attention of the crowd with NG protocol and new DEX.

It can be change with the new DEX Gui and speed up with the NG protocol. At least I hope that Cheesy

The lack of Volume on DEX is a very big problem for Waves, and Waves ICO's.

Actually, currently Waves can handle only 144,000 transactions per 24 hours and some days we got already close to that amount of transactions.

After implementation of Waves-NG (currently on testnet) Waves should be able to handle ~86 million transactions per 24 hours.

It was always on the roadmap to implement fast transactions ánd a new DEX.
They need each other.

So, the lack of volume is not a problem, it's actually a lack of promotion for it until it's ready to handle more transactions.
Current DEX is just a Beta version to squash out the bugs, optimize matcher, etc.

I hold an good amount of waves that dumped to half price. Now i'm confused: Buy more to grow my profit when the moment comes or just hold the waves that i have.
I'm not going to sell for low prices but i don't want to have a bigger loss if waves keep dumping.

Its finding REAL business acceptance in all financial areas. In a year from now, wave is at $50.000 and bitcoin is at $5 again because nobody has a use for bitcoin anymore.   Wink
