Sent 2.8 BTC to a wallet almost 2 hours ago...I have a .01 transaction as well sent over 24 hours ago with a .0001 fee attached that hasn't confirmed as well...whats the longest honestly you guys think for these to confirm? Will they ever confirm? Here is the link to my 2.8 transaction, this one is the one I'm REALLY concerned about.. I pray it confirms soon (this sucks for my bad anxiety):

Yeah it can take that long sometimes. New blocks are found on average once every ten minutes. So sometimes it may take over an hour between blocks and sometimes less than a minute.

Also, you're transaction isn't guaranteed to be in the next block. You may be waiting a few blocks for the first confirmation.

I've waited two hours for a transaction to confirm before.

Maybe having a 0.00015249 BTC output contributes to this.

Wait- what? You exported your wallet form MultiBit, imported that into blockchain and then sent that to another address?

Either way, like I said before I've had confirmations go for hours.

I exported my wallet earlier today from multibit to blockchain yes. I did a couple transactions no problem, realized they were at the .001 miner fee and I switched it to .0005. Immediately all my transactions stopped confirming within the next block or two. Been 2 hours since I sent the first of my 3 transactions currently unconfirmed with .0005 fee. I will be sending with bs .001 from now on I guess.

Do you think this will be guaranteed to be confirmed within a week? (I have bad anxiety)

I had a Coinbase transaction take 4.5 hours to confirm yesterday.

Apparently they had delays in February of days.

I'm new to Bitcoin and posted a Stack Exchange question about the issue: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/12726/why-did-my-coinbase-transaction-take-4-5-hours-to-get-in-a-block

Here is the transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/1c12a9f7db650956e3c01d7cd86fe8b4dd281e4d5dfc98f00af90803b158024f in case anyone can look and figure out what caused the delay.

I'm new to Bitcoin and posted a Stack Exchange question about it.

Here is the transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/1c12a9f7db650956e3c01d7cd86fe8b4dd281e4d5dfc98f00af90803b158024f in case anyone can look and figure out what caused the delay.

According to blockchain.info the transaction was received at 2013-08-18 02:42:49 UTC and was confirmed at 2013-08-18 02:45:29.

That computes to less than 3 minutes to confirm.  I suspect that Coinbase was delayed in transmitting the transaction to the network.  You could try asking their support about it, but I doubt you'll get a satisfying answer from them.
