Never heard of it. Genesis mining is profitable but it depends on the contract. You can recoup your costs in a year. Sometimes you get lucky and recoup very quickly due to rise in prices.

My U2 system was at it's start a cloudmining,but it was not interesting economicaly to mine.
But the system is used differently.
The mining is not from the minerware but from the site profit.
All is for free and you invest just time.
It's a mix of faucet and trade.
It is now paying since october 2015 and all if for free.
It is why i say:impossible to lose you can only earn.

if you discussed is the cloud of mining then none of cloud mining profitable. if one is currently offering promos and promising a profit then it is just a lie to attract allure. you can read the various references, try to read and you will get to know what is called cloud mining.

There's a lot to be said about cloud mining but I will summarise it here for you: cloud mining sites are not profitable. There is no easy way to passive profits, certainly not for newbies with limited capital. Even the most reputable ones have plenty of problems, the biggest and oldest one, Genesis, has been delaying payments for weeks now and Google will show that there are enough people out there who end up disappointed when their "lifetime" contracts stopped becoming profitable even before their initial outlay is returned. To break even, more than 6 months is typically required.

The best advice is to stay away if you don't know how to calculate potential income. Sites like eobot do offer a way to cloud mine without putting down any investment by simply using their daily faucets to re-invest into buying hashpower. They also have their own pools and support cloud folding for Gridcoin and Curecoin, so I wouldn't call them a scam rightaway. However, at best, they give you the same returns as a faucet site. So if you really think spending time online for a few "free" satoshi is worth it, then you're probably better off hitting faucets.

I didnt heard about eobot.com site but as i visited on the site it does have cloud mining,exchange,faucet and all i can say is WoW! They are complete already regarding on earning opportunities but talking majority on cloud mining.They arent profitable considering on the mining difficulty rise overtime and most of them are scams.This is why i dont really bother at all on joining them.

If you have made mentioned of those two and they are not profitable to you, I dont even know which one would considering the fact that 95% of the cloud mining sites are scams and the site you are looking into is obviously new which means they are yet to be trusted and by so I would advise you wait a while to get the review of other if you are insisting on dealing with a cloud mining site. Otherwise, you look else where to make an investment in other to generate a passive income.

I tried it out these days. The interesting is not the ROI on mining that is aleays at 17 month at the moment you buy (ghs price is based to btc price), but you can click on different coins, you want to get during mining. So its a kind of exchanging during mining. The other thing as I read here somewhere on bitcointalk, that mining contract, that is at 5 years can be exchanged to 24 hours contract. So you indirectly get back your invest but with loosing 20-30 percent. Seems to make sense when coins are hyping or you don't trust eobot anymore and get a quick pay out. Didn't try that yet to exchange back.

It is basically the same thing, i don't know why do you think it is different than any other cloud mining sites.
Your contract will expire in 1 year and you probably won't reach ROI by that time, even they are saying that you won't earn much if you invest.

Seriously? This just shows on how they are not sure about what they are offering to their investors. That's why I'm avoiding by all means from cloud mining. It's not just profitable and they're contracts aren't really seriously going to give you a perfect opportunity to make money. It's like a hint, that eobot investors shouldn't treat it a serious investment or sort of like that. Just don't invest in cloud mining guys, please.

I've also read about HashFlare as the company which provides cloud mining services, but considering the most of Bitcoin cloud mining companies are fraudulent, it is hard to predict whether it will turn out to be profitable for you or not.
It would be better to avoid cloud mining in general unless you are willing to accept the risks.

I'd say that most cloud mining sites are scams because of the idea behind cloud mining. It's in such a format that it seems so easy to just make money out of your investment. Not most but we can call it ALL of them since they are now just a ponzi runner and this is very disturbing since there are still people who have investment of those what so called old cloudmining sites. Maybe if they can pack there things up there maybe its best for them to do it quickly so that they will not gathered if the site owner selects to do an exit scam.

Do you mean those some are hashflare and genesis? I still wont put and try to invest again in any cloud mining. Player514 is right, the idea behind cloud mining are just the same. And thats why I dont trust any of them anymore, better to take up the risk with the bear and bullish market of trading.

From what I could gather there are a couple that aren't scams per se, meaning they pay out. But you won't make your ROI on them in before the Contract is up, and on the offchance that you do, the total profit would end up being below what you would have made it profit had you just taken the upfront money you used to buy the hashing power, and put it into the coin directly and let the coins price rise.

Kind of a win win for the cloud mining business. If the price of the coin you are cloud mining goes up, you DO earn a profit, and attribute it to them... when really had you just put your investment in the coin itself, you would have done better over that 2 year span anyway.

I don't even experience a cloud mining site which is live for a long time .. if you experience a legit cloud mining site they are just good in the first time but expect if they got they wanted to other investors they will live without payment. Like the other said all cloud mining site are scam they are same purposes.. why they are giving free hashflare for you that they can mine with their own ?
That is why it is not good to invest your money in online because there is no free in the internet you can earn if you do a job or task or you own your own miner and mine yours..

I think still, there are some cloud mining sites paying to people but very less amount. Nobody will mention whether they are mining the coins or manually they are trading with the investment they got from people. As per my knowledge, most of the cloud mining websites are scams when they are out of money and cannot able to rotate out to be a scam.

I think they legit but if you will ask if its profitable  i would say  no cause you will wait for atleast 6 months to 1 before you will get you roi.  Better you start trading than doing mining.

I would probably go a bit further than you and assert that actually most of these supposed cloud mining sites are scams. In fact, a large majority of Bitcoin investing sites are ponzis and scams. At this point, I highly doubt that a legitimate cloud mining service for Bitcoin is even worth it. Mining Bitcoin I feel is starting to hit a point where it is not as profitable as mining altcoins. We'll see if this changes in the future.

Try using hashnest, they have real rigs for sure because they are the one who sells antminers. Genesis has so many fees though, but it's legit. For me, these two are the only legit cloud mining sites. I may include hashflare because it's been there for years and i got my ROI but it seems too fishy right now, they are changing their terms right now without even advising us, and many users are selling their accounts.

That annoyingly true, those who still not scammed by this sites must be aware and be vigilant enough to be suspicious when things are going differently on what had been promised. Those sites mostly given you at the first days or months and if there is many investors or users come in they stopped and bring all, what left is only hatred and disappointment to they're clients.

Learn the history of other cloud mining and how they run their investment scheme and every cloud mining is prone to that thing, to run away from their investors. These are not scammers - it's just a monetary pyramid. And very often such pyramids collapse together with the money of depositors. In such projects you can earn, but on condition that you leave the project on time and fix the profit

Yup, and the issue with cloud mining is that you're essentially competing with those huge mining groups that purchase insane graphics cards and mine with them. They are easily worth millions, so when you put in a couple of dollars into a cloud mining service, I don't see how you can beat those mining rigs out.

Yeah and there are a lot of cloud mining sites that started to be a good and trusted one but eventually end up to be a scam. How can they compete on those big mining farms with huge investment to begin with? That's why it is better just to buy bitcoin with the funds that you are going to invest in those cloud mining sites. Buying bitcoin is the best logical choice for most of us if we are really into investing.

Most of the cloud mining firms have turned to be scam nowadays.Genesis mining is found to be a legit one but you would have to wait for even six months to recover your investment itself.They have packages depending upon the hash rate.Miner gate provides a software with which you could even mine in your laptop.But its not profitable and even it could damage your motherboard.So,it would be better to stay away from them.

Thats a good choice rather than on putting your funds on these cloud mining site.Just as expected they would really already put durations on their contract which means reaching roi after the expiration would really be hard on which you would really be forced up to deposit funds again and again. Theres no unlimited things on this world that would sustain for long specially on cloud mining.

Yes in the last few years there have been lots of websites claiming to be engaged in bitcoin mining but most of them if not all turned out to be scam so in fact there claims were just false ones and they were never into mining they were just trying to cheat on people with the latter's hard earned money.

Why can you not make the difference.
Cloudmining is never not scam...it's the cloudmining site's webmaster who is often a scammer.
I have programmed a cloudmining site and I have never scammed.It is paying since october 2015...even if satoshi are created without miner.
People here are quick,too quick to see scam everywhere.
I agree,it is easier to say "SCAM" without understanding the system thant take time to understand the system.

Investing in cloud mining may result in two points ;

1º You will lose all money invest due to most of the cloud-mining websites are scams. Always google - Bitcointalk ^Insert cloud mining website name^ and you will find a reference to start from.

2º You may end up into a legit cloud-mining website, it won't give you profit over the amount of money invested, so I commend  instead of giving a try to mine on the cloud just invest in Bitcoin/Stable altcoins directly.

I think you were honestly right, I'm sensitive enough to recognized the hatred they feel for what had happened before. Being scammed is not just a bad experienced that can be erased or forgotten overnight it is mostly traumatic as they're hard earn money is being taken away from them by a sites they trusted. Betrayal is an emotional feeling that might me endure much hatred. So I'll just pray for what best for them.

Yup, and the issue with cloud mining is that you're essentially competing with those huge mining groups that purchase insane graphics cards and mine with them. They are easily worth millions, so when you put in a couple of dollars into a cloud mining service, I don't see how you can beat those mining rigs out.

There are lot of cloud mining websites which are scam. And there are some like genesis and minergate which are not profitable at all. I have found another one eobot.com which seems to be a bit different. Is it profitable to invest there? Is it legit ?

It is true that many of the cloud mining sites are ponzi and hyip scheme. Genesis mining is one of the most often heard that this genesis is legit ang good to invest in. But for me Minergate is much more good than genesis, because I already experienced to earned bitcoin in minergate which is xmr.

It is difficult to proove, which cloud miners are legit or not, most are scam, but a few seem to be legit. That cloud mining can't be profitable on shortterm is clear for everyone, who is mining with his own hardware. There is an initial investment of hardware, electricity and maintence costs. Cloud miners need additional to pay employers, taxes, administration and more. They also want to work profitable, so the profits for customers can't be high.

I believe you have already answered all the question and doubts by yourself. Cloud mining was used to be safe place to earn money few years ago when the difficulty was not much and hardware were almost free to use and maintain fir cloud mining sites. That's now risky business and no one can sustain the heavy duties now a days. It's better not to invest in any kind of cloud mining no matter what different strategies they bring to us. It's just another HYIP site that you can consider. If you are too desperate then just go ahead and make review about it for others to know whether it's scam or not. But for sure they wouldn't sustain the business for long.

Now many people are ready invest on ASIC miners but supply of miners in demand now after China banned bitcoin in their country. I hope you may know that Bitmain located at China.
You can do altcoin mining using the graphics cards with the specification to start GPU mining.
