As you probably already know, TheBasis of life on our entire planet is trees and the area of land is slightly more than 4 billion hectares, but not all of these lands are covered with forests, this number includes roads. Glades. Forest swaths. If you subtract their area, then there will be only about 2.47 billion hectares, which is 0.8 hectares per person. For our planet it’s not much.
So is there enough forest on the planet?
Trees are vital to the planet. They enrich the atmosphere with oxygen, trees play a huge role in the water cycle on the planet. They take moisture from the soil, filter it and release it into the environment, thereby increasing the humidity of the air. Trees lift underground water, enrich the soil, protect it from erosion and desertification, so without forests, rivers become shallow immediately.

Despite this, there is no real anonymous digital currency made specifically to maintain the required number of trees in the world. With The Basis coin, we want to invest in the expansion of forestry around the world.

The oceans were the basis of life, and continue to be so even today. Marine algae produce more oxygen than all the trees, and the oceans are the largest active carbon sink, absorbing at least 25% of all CO2 emissions.

You want to fix the planet, fix the ocean. And you're not helping CO2 emissions with scrypt mining, so I doubt you really care about trees anyway. But feel free to enlighten me on your grand plan to save the forests.
