No Fkin Luck......

Anyone else had problems. downloaded and run V10, ran for about 15mins then shut down. Had a fine working R9390x Trix-x. Its now completely not working, not being read at all the fans aren't running now. The only thing to tell me its getting power is the yellow button working. Have done all standard checks, changed cables, un & re-installed software, riser but no luck. Not knowledge able enough to get any further. Think thats a £300 card fucked. Anybody give me advice of what steps to check the card before i smash it of the wall. lol Dont have the funds to replace it so any help would be greatly appreciated....

When single card is used computer starts up but no display, using teamviewer to access. also card is not read in device manager. Does that mean the displays away so cards just a paper-wait now or cant anytime be done..........

An R9-390X is quite an old card... how long have you been using it for mining? It honestly sounds like running it at 100% load while mining has probably overheated and killed it... maybe a VRM has let go? Do you see any discolouration on the back of the PCB near where a chip is soldered?

If the card is not working when plugged directly into the motherboard, that would rule out a bad riser etc. Your card sounds like it has become a paperweight. Undecided

Yeah, sounds like overheated, did you turn all the fans to max, and add extra cooling? Remember that mining uses 100% of the GPU all the time, that is a massive load, it can handle it but must be cooled adequately, things get really hot in the actual system too, the PCIE riser card can, and do, bond to the connectors due to heat! My current system has two like this, even with extra 12 volt and a mains oscillating fan just 30 cms from the machine..

You should use the older version.
