Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

If you are not alert and aware on the possible scams around then for sure you would really fall on this one.As a newbie you would really believe that this is an original link from the legit myetherwallet but if you do try to look it back you would really notice the difference which means we should really be keen on any links we do click and not easily on entering our sensitive informations regarding on our wallet.

You have done well in call everyone attention to it but unfortunately, not everyone will see this and I see a scam thread still open for this purpose in the coming days then reference will be made to this thread. In the era of scammers everywhere looking for every means to milk innocent victims dry, there is need to double check everything even if its a east address that was copied and pasted.

I think the wallet is still a little local safety. Do not trust any other channel of news. You should confirm the authenticity of the message from the official website. Do not click on any other person's links. Until the authenticity of the link is confirmed
