A marketplace where fans can buy and sell collectible merchandise from their favourite athletes and teams using Action Coin (ACTN), as well as mainstream payment methods.

Our native coin, Action Coin (ACTN) is the primary asset on a dedicated POS blockchain powered by Komodo Platform technology (a "Komodo Smartchain"). The Komodo Smartchain was launched on March 31st, 2020, effectively replacing our original blockchain, which was based on NXT technology. The total ACTN supply was reduced from 10 billion ACTN to 2 billion (due to Komodo technical advice at the time) and a 5:1 swap was advertised and conducted over the course of 2 years; with at least 2 deadline extensions.
During the same time period, 2 "bridge tokens" were created on the BNB/BSC and Polygon chains with a total combined supply of 1 billion ACTN. 1 billion ACTN was subsequently "burned" on our native chain as a result, ensuring our maximum supply remains at 2 billion ACTN.
We are now planning to create a bridge token on Ethereum (total supply 250m) in the near future, and will burn an equivalent number of tokens on BSC to compensate. A fourth bridge token will be issued on a yet-to-be-determined public chain, with another matching burn. The logic here is that these bridge tokens will increase the resilience and decentralization of ACTN over time, by distributing our supply across at least 5 chains. They also provide each of the respective public blockchain networks with access to our native chain, and vice versa. Ongoing work is being done to facilitate 1:1 swaps across networks.

1). A typical user collects Action Coin ("Action") by interacting with our websites and our vendors. Small amounts of Action may be earned by joining our network (you can use the same login for each of our websites), referring new users, spending your Action on vouchers (via actionrewards.net), posting vendor reviews, etc. Vendors currently receive 100% of the Action used to purchase their special offer vouchers, and in the future they'll need Action to obtain promote special offers on our network. 2). We are attempting to build a disruptive, decentralized travel rewards program (similar to Airmiles in Canada), that unlike traditional programs, gives users full control over their earnings. Technically speaking, members can use their Action anywhere and Vendors can accept Action without establishing a formal relationship with our network. 3). actioncoin.io is not currently connected to the blockchain.
All transactions on our websites are currently handled off chain, while we await the launch of the Ardor Platform (we are hoping to integrate with a child chain on the new platform). Once the blockchain integration is complete, your account balance will be reflected there as well.
