There was an enforced ban on ICOs placed in china on all icos and all currently running icos was told and warned to refund everyone that had invested in it and many ico projects started the refund process immediately.

Binance exchange in a new blog post stated that they will ban all Chinese ip address from trading but that they will still be able to make withdrawals and access their user base.

I've never expected this much hard action from Binance actually. But they should ve forced by Chinese government and probably the government has threathen Binance platform to ban all Chinese IPs from its system.

True. It's not easy going against the Chinese government. Most companies from other industries know that, or learned the hard way, like how Lotte from South Korea got harassed with lawsuits in China.

Oh well, let's see what will happen after this. With no more ICOs from there, this should mean that every new alt that enters the market will be non-Chinese. I wonder if there are governments out there that'll try to take advantage of this.

I was just thinking how some of these ICO's would be able to return the money, if they used it to fund their projects. That is

to say if there were actual projects behind these ICO's. The impact of this decision can surely only be enforced within China,

so the money invested into ICO's beyond China's borders would be very tricky.  Roll Eyes Huh

What about the projects that were funded and running at the moment? This is very absurd indeed.  Sad
