I don't understand the OP at all.

He said he would prove he had 1 LTC, he said he would be willing to put it in escrow.

When asked to do so, he suddenly changed his mind.   

WHY would he go through all this work and then screw his project over just by being stubborn?

I think it's proof he doesn't have the coin and was planning on scamming everybody.
