It's just fluctuating i think, riding with the movement of btc. When bitcoin goes up, altcoin-btc exhange becomes expensive or vice versa if it goes down. Don't panic, it's just natural for altcoins like doge that has it's own dollar exchange to . Don't exchange with btc-doge if bitcoin's price is high, instead trade doge-usd.

Users just switch to another altcoins, because there are a lot of them in the market. For example, Monero, is quite popular this year, so People simple start to use Monero instead of Doge.

there are hundreds of topics about this and the reasons have been repeated a lot of times. Doge is one of those dying coins. it started as a joke coin and it caught on because the community liked the "joke" and because it was early days and there weren't that many altcoins to choose from anyways.

but because Doge is not really doing anything special + it has a gigantic supply of multi billions of coins + it has no cap and will increase day by day to infinity = this coin will remain like this, always falling and going down in price.

sometimes you see a small come back or a pump but they never last and it doesn't mean Doge is not dead.

Yes, doge doesn't offer the things other coin do. Yet somehow lots of people really got used to it and it is one of the most used cryptocurrencies in the world. Add to this the fact that doge is fast, secure and has very cheap transactions. This means that it does have a future even though there are better coins and it has this unlimited supply problem. Let's look at a coin which is worse than a lot of others and is still #1. I'm talking about unstable not flexible expensive btc which doesn't even allow to perform smart contracts. Yet it is and will be the best for a long time.

The fact that quite a big number of Dogecoins are generated every day means that Dogecoin is one of the very few (or is the only one?) inflationary coin and the coins value decreases every day.
Bitcoin is deflationary, that's why its value is expected to keep increasing greatly. And same goes with most of the coins, as long as they get success (investors confidence).

Long story short, the surprise was that Dogecoin had this huge jump not long ago. The current decrease is normal.

I would love to see doge coin make new heights in 2018 and in the coming years, but because of its unlimited and huge supply, I don't expect it to rise significantly. But you can never say what will happen in the world of cryptos and since doge has a vibrant community, it is good to add to the portfolio.

That's why it's always worth accumulating some cheap doge and holding them ready in case of a pump. You can then make several hundred percent profit once the pump gets going

Nice summary on the positives of dogecoin  . I like doge, because of the very cheap transactions, but I don't think this coin has really a future.
With other coins, like LTC, you have very good dev teams who always release new projects, improvements and this is something that is missing for dogecoin

Dogecoin is old coin and I have dogecoin and Im very sad because the price decrease . I dont know when the price increase again or maybe it will be lower again in the next fee days or weeks. I hope the dev create new project for dogecoin so the price will increase again and we earn profit. I think many of you have a lot of dogecoin and until now you hold it for fee months more. Pump dogecoin!

Buying and holding big bags of doge would be a very good and cheap investment to get into cryptos.
It does pump maybe once or twice a year.
