Thanks dabs, can't wait for the drawing! You can no longer enter the 2BTC raffle. If you want to enter the 1BTC Raffle please follow @PrimeDice on twitter and post your username below. So pumped. Hopefully my bad luck will fade.

It will be worth the wait to know it is a fair game, thanks stunna. Also Dabs even though I don't yet understand how it works I do appreciate it.

It will be worth the wait to know it is a fair game, thanks stunna. Also Dabs even though I don't yet understand how it works I do appreciate it. Read about SHA-256. It's a secure hash function, used by bitcoin and cryptography in general. The TL;DR is: it's fair because no one knows the final result without doing the calculation first. No one can cheat. Besides, I just determine the winner. Stunna is the one who will send the prize.

How is the raffle going to work? Everyone will be assigned a number and then a random number is chosen? If so, don't you have to publish the list of number/participant pairs first? Else if you draw number 42, you can assign 42 to be anyone?

Just wait a few hours after midnight UTC. Satoshidice is usually the last one to publish their secrets of the day. I already have the list of entries for the 2 BTC draw, it is just a bunch of bitcoin addresses.

You should publish a hash of an ordered list of all the entrants, otherwise you could change the order after the random number is assigned to make yourself a winner.
