Credit cards should be made illegal, shame on the world for accepting such a demonizing concept that eventually ruins the lives of so many. Scumbags at the top are making a killing of us, the sheeple, and those at the top all know each other and there is very few of them. Shame.

usury is illegal.

For all of the problems that credit cards represent (in a micro and macro sense), they do enable a lot of liquidity and enable a more comfortable life for so many. I think if you asked the average American, they would say that they *need* their credit card.

Thats right, but he is right too. There should be a system of control over the debt to be generated and the conditions of the person to whom such debt is to be given.
You can not lend epic amounts of debt to people who will not be able to repay it.

Everyone should choose whether to use a credit card or not, and in what quantities, but in the modern world many people simply can not imagine their life without it.

Even though using credit cards inadvertently incurs debt on the user, no one is really forcing anyone to go in for credit cards, I rather use my debit cards for all my transactions and those who use credit cards since they are not using their real money, they don't seem to care that's until they start to pay back and that's when the cry foul saying the system is rigged and that banks are evil .

I agree that those people are incredibly irresponsible and that they are completely at fault. It personally doesn't affect me either what those in debt experience.
However, I feel that it is too harsh to not give people some safety net from the people with power that knowingly destroy people's lives for their benefit.
Sure it is their responsibility, but let's not allow strong to pray on the weak to the point that there is no coming back and at no cost of the ones that knowingly put them in such position. If we won't give those people a second chance to get out of debt, we should at least have some punishment for the ones that pushed them there. After all, it is far from honest and fair behavior.
